Stadt Posted 15 June 2014 Posted 15 June 2014 That noise the Argie fans keep making is hideous! They're great fans.I'd love to be in a San Lorenzo end
kingfox Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Argentina need to do better, so much inconsistency in the players performances tonight. Knew Bosnia would give them a good test.
David Guiza Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Missed this due to being asleep. Presumably Argentina starting slowly, but still having enough class? I still fancy them to go all the way. If half their front line turn up a lone they should stand a good chance. I also see Messi ended his World Cup goalscoring curse somewhat, if only Rooney could do the same..

The write ups I've read point out that they changed their system from qualifying for this game to something more defensive, with three CBs. Bit weird. Said it left Messi isolated with little infront of him which makes sense from the comments in this thread. Apparently they changed up in the second half and both he and they were better. Hope that's lesson learned, they've so much potential to be the most enjoyable team at the tournament to watch.

I really don't know why a team with the potential and attacking talent that Argentina have would do that. They have the potential to outscore any team in he tournament, Messi, Higuian, Di Maria, Aguero and Lavezzi alone would walk into 98% of teams. As you say, hopefully the second half change is a wake up call though. Just watched the highlights, great second from Messi. Has to be fill your boots time for the remaining two group games.
Haydos Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Rabona clearance in your own box, someone doesn't trust their right foot. I didn't watch. Was it Di Maria?
HEGGSY Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 I didn't watch. Was it Di Maria?Di Maria did a rabona pass during the game, yes.But the rabona clearance was made by Rojo, the left back.
