Grandad. Posted 1 July 2014 Share Posted 1 July 2014 You have to laugh at a lot of what he says just because it is so ridiculous. Funniest thing I have heard in a while was yesterday and Martin Keown describing Raphael Varane and telling us all he has 'international sprinting ability', what the hell? Nalis Posted 1 July 2014 Share Posted 1 July 2014 I love the pause after he tries to say something funny.
ousefox Posted 1 July 2014 Share Posted 1 July 2014 Steve Wilson is a very good commentator. Him and Guy Mowbray are the best there
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 1 July 2014 Share Posted 1 July 2014 Wouldn't be surprised if the BBC gets some complaints for Lawro with his 'he should of put a skirt on' comment (followed by obligatory awkward silence) about a weak shot in the earlier game. Remember there was a hoo-haa about Robbie Fowler saying something about 'playing like a girl'.
Facecloth Posted 13 July 2014 Share Posted 13 July 2014 Be interesting to see the viewing figures tonight. Can't imagine why anybody would want to watch it on Itv, but there bound to be some. Bbc should get over 90% of the viewers, just showing how awful itv's coverage is,

To add,Chiles getting overexcited even a day after the Germany game, could you imagine how bad Chiles would have been to listen to if ITV covered that game live?No brainer, BBC for me. Webbo Posted 15 July 2014 Share Posted 15 July 2014 Rio Ferdinand has impressed me this tournament. In his previous media appearances he's always come across as a bit thick.

Grandad. Posted 15 July 2014 Share Posted 15 July 2014 Yeah I said this in another thread a few days ago, I can't stand the man, but this tournament he has spoken a lot of sense.
