Rocky Dennis Posted 21 June 2014 Posted 21 June 2014 Only tickets in B1/B3 remain now, expensive but worth it!
broughtonblue Posted 21 June 2014 Posted 21 June 2014 Looking back now there was no need to que. Saved myself £180 by getting into C1 instead of B. Some amazing guys out there. 2 Glasgow rangers fans who were staying in the holiday inn raided the breakfast buffet and bought us sausage sandwiches, and lee jobber for providing chairs for people that didn't have them 'Looking back now there was no need to que' Hindsight is a wonderful thing! My mate was going down at midnight with his son and his sons mate, complete with tent, beer and flask. Presume he would have got tickets then?
Fox_in_a_Box Posted 21 June 2014 Posted 21 June 2014 I woke up 45 mins late, rolled out of bed, went for a piss, made a cup of tea, booted up the laptop, sat in a online queue for 5 mins and bang got one within minutes. Nothing like last time. Crazy considering the number of tickets available.
promised land Posted 21 June 2014 Posted 21 June 2014 Nothing like last time. Crazy considering the number of tickets available. As Rocky Dennis says it's probably because they're some of the dearest seats on the ground, that can price a lot of people out of getting one. B1/B3 is roughly £200 dearer than the kop, some just can't afford that much more.

Illusion35 Posted 21 June 2014 Posted 21 June 2014 I agree - lots of people can't afford the seats that are left. I think part of the reason for the scrum last time around was that people were all after the cheaper seats or wanted specific areas of the ground and prepared to queue for hours to get these. If I'd missed out I wouldn't be in the market for the ones left now - too expensive and not in an area of the ground I want to be.

My bro in law brought 2 tickets, even though he didn't qualify, he argued with the ticket office.
