Corky Posted 5 July 2014 Posted 5 July 2014 The answer is BBC, it still has its annoying *****, but at the end of the day ITV is ITV and Adrian Chiles is Adrian Chiles and Adverts are Adverts. Matt Smith, for all his annoying long gaps between words at times, is a better presenter, far less error prone and certainly has more rapport with his pundits than Chiles.
Matt Posted 5 July 2014 Posted 5 July 2014 Is Cannavaro pissed up or something? He's got this weird pissed up laugh he keeps doing this afternoon that i've never noticed throughout the tournament before. Mind you working with Chiles, I could understand Cannavaro turning to drink...
Gary Eatfood Posted 5 July 2014 Posted 5 July 2014 I thought this was what somebody was replying to your point about there being something off about Tim Vickery. Nah, I've realised what is is about Vickery, he's a FARC guerrilla.
theadmans Posted 5 July 2014 Posted 5 July 2014 Watching the Holland v Costa Rica I quite like Danny Murphy - very natural sounding commentary.
LAprice_ Posted 5 July 2014 Posted 5 July 2014 Danny Murphy has been the stand-out co-commentator. Andy Townsend does nothing but state the obvious Lee Dixon makes some good points but gets drowned out by Adrian Chiles trying to be funny.
Zapp Posted 5 July 2014 Posted 5 July 2014 Sam Matterface is the best commentator BBC are better for everything else
