I appreciate your comments but am largely lost at your negativity toward a couple of fans getting paid nothing to create a platform for fans to enjoy and get involved in.

I guess you just cant please them all.

I'm not actively attempting to be negative, I just said that you should improve the articles if you intend for them to be a large part of your site, to which you asked for the feedback that I then gave you. I'm not saying I don't like the idea or most of the execution (and I'd offer to help with some of the filming if I were still in the country and you needed that), just trying to give some feedback about the writing

I think you're really getting somewhere with those videos and I congratulate you for constantly improving the presentation. You're getting more and more professional.

 

Two more thing that I've noticed watching that latest piece:

 

First and foremost. please give your audio a bit more consideration. I was listening to the video with headphones on and

a) it's peaking way too much (the commentary is too loud and starts crackling), so I advise you adjust your microphone settings accordingly prior to shooting

and

b) your left and right audio tracks are off - place both on separate tracks on your editing timeline and then turn each mono track into a stereo one. Done.

 

Also, and this is not really urgent, you could also add some more lighting in order to distinguish between you two guys in the foreground and the background. The videos in the studio tend to be a bit too dark for my liking.

 

That's about it. Keep them coming. :thumbup:

Don't ask for feedback if you're going to construe it as overtly negative, that post was constructive in that it listed where and how you could improve. It didn't criticise the idea of what you're doing, more the execution (of which you have purposefully asked for opinions on).
