Mack Posted 29 August 2014 Author Posted 29 August 2014 Here's the new look 100% LCFC TV weekly show. Let me know your thoughts, we've taken on board your comments and hope you think it's improving.
Collymore Posted 29 August 2014 Posted 29 August 2014 This is excellent. My only criticism would be the host (Phil is it?) seems to get excited and either finish your sentences for you or interrupt you at times. I'm not slating him though, I think the show is great.
Captain... Posted 29 August 2014 Posted 29 August 2014 The look and sound was much better. You both seemed more natural and comfortable sitting down and no mic. It is really interesting to watch you guys develop. A couple of things, plug your next show, the way of the world is that almost as soon as you submit the video the info is out of date, Cambiasso has signed the bid for Mcarthur has been accepted. etc so if you say the next report from 100% LCFC TV will be Saturday night/Sunday morning previewing Arsenal then people will look out for it, and watch it while it is still relevant. Mention who has tweeted in, and what question they have asked, it makes it feel more interactive. How long does it take you to upload after you finish recording?
PerfumePonce Posted 29 August 2014 Posted 29 August 2014 Much better. Looks more relaxed sitting down in a 'studio' setting. Good job!It is important that all the content is current though. I'm not sure of the time you have and I'm sure you are juggling other things besides this but it is important to have videos on the things happening as they come in. Like for example, if you got together today (after hearing the news last night) do a 5-10 minute show about Cambiasso. About the whole transfer saga, what he'll bring - what's been said. Upload it and get it out that day/evening. If both of you are busy then just have one of you. As long as the content is always coming in. Obviously you come on here so you know what's going on with stuff, although you'll have to sort through all the bull! Also as I said before I think it'd be better to have seperate videos. Chelsea post-match. Shrewsbury post-match. Arsenal pre-match. Because I've read/heard that Chelsea game analyzed to death over the last week and it's a pain to watch through (or skip) to the Arsenal build up part. It's all about the separate videos and content. The more content videos) the better.Again, not criticizing you because you're doing a good job. Keep it up!
PerfumePonce Posted 29 August 2014 Posted 29 August 2014 Ah, apologies. I've just seen you put up a Cambiasso vid earlier today. But yeah would've been good to have chatted about it a bit more. What he'll bring to the team etc. Unless you're saving that to debate with your co host on a later show? Which if so is good as this video is the 'current' video I was talking about. Keeping the content up to date and as it happens.
HoustonFox Posted 29 August 2014 Posted 29 August 2014 Good vids, like them a lot. Latest one in studio is massive leaps and bounds on from the first. I'll be continuing to watch. You could sign up Youngy to come on for an episode!
Mack Posted 30 August 2014 Author Posted 30 August 2014 Good vids, like them a lot. Latest one in studio is massive leaps and bounds on from the first. I'll be continuing to watch. You could sign up Youngy to come on for an episode! Thanks for the kind words, means a lot. Youngy has been in touch lately and is interested in coming on to a show soon. Here's hoping.
Mack Posted 31 August 2014 Author Posted 31 August 2014 Quick catch up with Lee Jobber after the game today..
Mack Posted 7 September 2014 Author Posted 7 September 2014 100% LCFC TV's round up of the early exchanges and recent events...
Fez of Mahrez Posted 7 September 2014 Posted 7 September 2014 Good to see someone taking on feedback and responding positively. Based on this evidence I'd either improve the quality control on the blog posts or ditch them altogether: http://100lcfc.com/2014/09/01/leicester-sign-tom-lawrence/
Robin JD Popley Posted 7 September 2014 Posted 7 September 2014 Watched the post match Arsenal videos lads and I think there is a niche in this. Albeit only on the internet at present, nice to have a 'channel' designated to us as a club - much like Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool etc. Although it's not the finish product yet, I am sure when you have a finite theme to the schedule, it will be a very welcome addition to our fan base. Enjoyed the interview with Lee (Jobber) very much too.
Mack Posted 7 September 2014 Author Posted 7 September 2014 Phil and I chat about our transfer business this window.
fuchsntf Posted 7 September 2014 Posted 7 September 2014 Why did you take a photo of Braunstone frith.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 9 September 2014 Posted 9 September 2014 Good to see someone taking on feedback and responding positively. Based on this evidence I'd either improve the quality control on the blog posts or ditch them altogether: http://100lcfc.com/2014/09/01/leicester-sign-tom-lawrence/ What do you mean Fez !!! You don't enjoy the space then classic "three pieces of punctuation" style of writing and oddly worded paragraphs that read as if they were written by an Indonesian 13 year old Premier League fanboy ??? Whats wrong with you !!!

Whats wrong with you !!! lol
J.Lisemore Posted 9 September 2014 Posted 9 September 2014 Really enjoyed watching these vids, grateful for what you both do. Always nice to listen to a generally educated insight into our on-goings, fan reactions etc. I reiterate the view that there is a clear improvement since video 1 and looks a lot less awkward now your sitting down. Jobber seems to talk a lot of sense also, good interview that.

Mack Posted 11 September 2014 Author Posted 11 September 2014 You really need to sort out your articles if you want people to actually go on there and read them Good morning, and thanks for the comments. Please let me know just what is so wrong with the piece on the Alan Young launch, would love to hear your thoughts.
lavrentis Posted 11 September 2014 Posted 11 September 2014 Really good show - cheers for doing this. Great talk
MC Prussian Posted 11 September 2014 Posted 11 September 2014 Phil and I chat about our transfer business this window. I think you're really getting somewhere with those videos and I congratulate you for constantly improving the presentation. You're getting more and more professional. Two more thing that I've noticed watching that latest piece: First and foremost. please give your audio a bit more consideration. I was listening to the video with headphones on and a) it's peaking way too much (the commentary is too loud and starts crackling), so I advise you adjust your microphone settings accordingly prior to shooting and b) your left and right audio tracks are off - place both on separate tracks on your editing timeline and then turn each mono track into a stereo one. Done. Also, and this is not really urgent, you could also add some more lighting in order to distinguish between you two guys in the foreground and the background. The videos in the studio tend to be a bit too dark for my liking. That's about it. Keep them coming.
benpicko Posted 11 September 2014 Posted 11 September 2014 Good morning, and thanks for the comments. Please let me know just what is so wrong with the piece on the Alan Young launch, would love to hear your thoughts. Weird grammatical errors, inconsistent and mostly incorrect use of punctuation, formatting decisions that make the page look horrendous to scroll through (italicising quotes rather than just leaving them be and using the correct punctuation), faux professionalism that just seems out of place ('our founder', the statement from him etc). This article in particular is in need of both a large amount of editing and a complete rethink, considering its purpose seems to be to provoke Manchester United fans and to provide an outlet for the author's twitter copy and pasting abilities: Tom Lawrence signs for Leicester City on a four year deal !! Man United are now officially a feeder club to Leicester… Fact !!! Player including Ritchie de Laet, Drinkwater, James and now Lawrence and possible Powell are all great young talalent that Man U have feed to us… Thanks !!! So they think developing young talent to the edge of potential and then sell it so they can sign Falcao for £346k per week makes good sense !!! Football gone mad … But us Leicester fans thanks them !!! Man United fans on twitter…. @Gillespxe: Selling Tom Lawrence for 1 million is possibly one of the worst bits of business Utd have done since Pogba. He is going to be quality @rmorado01: Why Lawrence he was going to someone like giggs to us in the future !!?????? @utdnewsbulletin: Tom Lawrence is Leicester’s 7th #mufc academy graduate in their first team. De Laet, Simpson, Drinkwater, James, Barmby & Rowley the others. @TheTeamForMe: WHY DID YOU SELL LAWRENCE !!! @chrisawesomeone: Anyone gutted we have sold Lawrence?? @nyira_lydie: Hopefully we won’t regret letting Lawrence go. Guy had potential. Don’t want it to be another Pogba story. So according to the Man U fans…. Nigel Pearson has signed a real young star in the making…. To add to all the other Man United players we have. Thanks to our new official feeder club…. Some team up north called Manchester United !! Also if you want to get rid of the Wordpress favicon and replace it with your logo you can edit the link in the HTML file

I guess you just cant please them all.
