Under 21 Bad Injury !

Recommended Posts

I understand that the under 21 game at Leeds was abandoned because one of our lads was badly hurt. Does anyone know who it was and how bad it is? Just hope he is ok

Not often that games are abandoned through injury. Can only think of the Fabrice Muamba incident.

Hope whoever it is is okay.

Abandoned in the 85th minute apparently. Leeds were 4-0 up. No idea who the player in question is, just that the injury was said to be "serious".

Only other one I can think of is Clive Clarke for us away at Forest in the Cup.

What ever has happened, I hope the player is ok.

Apparently it was 'only' a broken ankle.

Must have been some distress amongst the players/staff otherwise it wouldn't have been called off. Don't know who it was though.

If it was a training ground match, maybe they had to stop the game while they waited for the ambulance? I guess it's not the same as a proper league game, where you always have an ambulance waiting outside.
