Sick and tired of QPR....

Takes me back to the 'grinds my gears' thread...but i am now fed up of hearing about how wonderful QPR are going to be with Redknapp this season back in the Prem!

Media love the guy and nearly everyone is predicting them to do well and be the surprise package this season.

I don't mean to sound bitter but they were lucky to go up last season and I just cant seem them doing well? Why will all of a sudden will they vastly improve? Just because they are paying Ferdinand and Caulker about 70k a week...they still lack players up front and their squad still has some players who want to go elsewhere causing disruption.

Am I the only one thinking this? I really do hope that they struggle and Redknapp is out of a job by Christmas.

Don't worry, the more people talk them up, the more satisfying the final day of the season will be.

The media like them because they have money to spend and a manager everybody knows. Give them lots of hype and if they're right, the media knew all this time, but if they're wrong then watch the media jump on them like a tramp on chips.

It's becoming a joke, have they been fined for breaking FFP rules? Last I read the BPL weren't going to lean on them to pay the fines to the football league and would end up paying a fraction of it through challenging the fines in court?

As always I'd rather we go about our business without much notice from anyone else. Let them lap up the attention, everyone outside the top flight knows their players struggled to play as a team and they didn't deserve to go up.

If you all hate Redknapp clap your hands,

If you all hate Redknapp clap your hands,

We all hate Redknap, he's a fat b*****d,

If you all hate Redknapp clap your hands!

Unfortunately I think scrotum face and his brown paper envelope purchases will survive.

Hope I'm wrong, the like-arsing from the media is unreal.

To my knowledge no they haven't any fines regarding FFP as it is completely different in terms of Prem and Championship - I would think their Parachute payments also had an effect on those rulings.

As 'Arry as the budgeting skills of a vagrant addicted to any form of booze I would think that he isn't in charge of anything like wages or transfer bids, he just points and says we'll 'ave him!

Chuffed to bits they lost yesterday - and hopefully Mark_w is right come end of season.

Like I said in another thread, Dunne and Ferdinand at the back they deserve to lose. If Nige, or any other manager, did that they'd get criticized for having slow players. Look at Demichellis. Yet they are seen as "experienced players".

I wanted Derby to beat them in the play off final, as they went about football the right way.

Last year was the first year in which FFP was in force.

It was made very clear to any sides being promoted last season that promotion would not excuse them from punishment.

It's just crazy how many players Harry admits to talking to on a daily basis. On his Friday press conference he talked about Fer, Van de Vaart, Townsend, Krancjar, Deeney some other guy I hadn't heard of, just an example of what is wrong with football at the moment.

Fernandes is wising up to him, refused to continue chasing Deeney as the price got too much, and already brought in Hoddle to replace him at the first chance he gets. The sooner Harry gets the sack the better for QPR and the worse for us. A competent manager with that sort of financial backing will be a threat to our chances of survival. Harry and his bunch of mercenaries won't be.
