BigWesMorgan Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 With hope that Drinky and Vardy will be playing. Schmeichel RDL Moore Morgan Konchesky Albrighton Drink Hammond Mahrez Vardy Ulloa Vardy running at Mertesacker is a pleasing thought
dedlock Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Weller Birchenall izzet Gibson With 2 Lenny's on the bench? LG & NL
dedlock Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Cambiasso Pirlo Giggs ITK ITK may be better than GTF.
weller54 Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 ITK may be better than GTF. ITK for GTF (Immense Tummy Kit)?
foxfan92 Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Schmeichel RDL Moore Morgan Konchesky Mahrez King Hammond Schlupp Vardy Ulloa Bench - Hamer Waseleski, Albrighton, Knockaert, Nugent, Drinkwater, GTF since we're concentrating on the midfield in this thread I think the midfield we played against Chelsea worked very well and having Vardy as an outlet would work very well King and Hammond have been immense especially as they've been outnumbered against some of the strongest midfields in the premiership Assuming Drinkwater is fit he can come on for whichever of the two run out of steam first Whatever happens I hope GTF doesn't end up back in the centre I'd have preferred Nige to take off Hammond and either Nugent or Ulloa and bring on Was and Knockaert (I know Wood is the obvious replacement for a striker and we were a goal down - but I'd have then made us play a more diamond formation using the pace of schlupp, albrighton (who was on by then I think) and knockaert to hit them on counter with whoever else was up front giving support - which we pack the backline to stop them getting through - not ideal but better IMO than GTF in the middle of the park

mozartfox Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Recall Gallagher and get Danns back for one month loan - problem sorted and cheap. Arsenal won't know how to handle that pairing.

AyewJoking Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Forfeit the game. We expect to lose anyway and provides our squad with a little rest.
Father Ted Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 What's the crack with Matty James anyone know? Was very surprised not to see one of McCourt/Watson/Cain on the bench on Saturday - I'm certain at least one of them would have been a far better option than GTF in there. Great stuff seeing King and Hammond step up to the plate and really push Drinkwater and James now... should all 4 be fit it will be interesting to see who Pearson goes with.
