Walshy5 Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 So with Hammond Drinkwater and James all likely to be out who are we going to partner with King? Surely we need to get someone in now even if its only a short term loan.
Chris Hogg Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Heard Hammond just came off with cramp so he should be okay for Arsenal. Agree that we do need another 1 or 2 additions to cover our midfield though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

KFS Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 King and Hammond keeping things tidy, Drinky the catalyst.
Jam Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Hammond is fine, Nige pretty much confirmed that in the post match interview. So I'd go with the same mid as yesterday, obviously haha
Jam Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 I don't know where it all changed for GTF. I remember him at Blackpool playing out wide as part of an attacking 3. Seemed agile, of a 'lighter' build and popped up to get on the end of a few balls to score. Weird. I know he's older than he was then, but not really an excuse...
Haydos Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Why do you think Hammond will be out? From what I can remember from his posts he's one of the dour lot, everything's always going to be shit types.

Guest Col city fan Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 The midfield will pick itself I guess, based on fitness. I'd love to see Vardy back though. Arsenal are slow defensively..he could give them a torrid time if we play it in behind them.
DennisNedry Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Albrighton King Hammond Mahrez When Hammond tires around the 70 minute mark, bring Drinkwater on. Also bring Knockaert on for Mahrez/Albrighton if required.
SomalianFox15 Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Drinkwater is supposed to be back in time for Arsenal and Hammond just had cramp.
Buzzell Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Same team vs Chelsea. Hopefully Drinkwater and Vardy will be fit for at least the bench.
leicesterisme Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 From what I can remember from his posts he's one of the dour lot, everything's always going to be shit types. Had a real hatred of Pearson aswell.
lc4lcfc Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 I see schlupp keeping his place on the left. As mentioned with the injuries it'll pick itself in the middle based on fitness
iancognito Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Keep it as it was v Chelsea. The only one with his place under threat at the moment is Nuge because he's had one decent chance in 2 games and fluffed his lines. When Vardy's fully fit, it's a tough call for Pearson.
Clever Fox Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Schlupp has to play on the left side of Midfield. He's been a different player this season so far. He stronger, more confident about his ability. He's starting to show the promise and progress that nigel always believed he would. Should have scored last week but he will have learned from that. If he keeps progressing like he is now he's going to be some player for us.
Devonfox1884 Posted 24 August 2014 Posted 24 August 2014 Any chance we could go 4-3-3 against these, with a 4-5-1 when defending?? Something like this: Kasper De Laet Morgan Moore Konckeskey Drinkwater Hammond King Albrighton Ulloa Mahrez When defending Mahrez and Albrighton drop back into midfield to give us an extra man when they're attacking. Thoughts??
