JJS84 Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 No. I would suggest seeing he is a free agent a loan is not correct and second I think we are likely if needing another CB it would be a more experienced player. is Miquel a free agent? he was on the bench for arsenals CL qualifiers, surely to be named in a match day squad you would need to have come form of contract with the club, even if its only week to week or month to month.

You don't play nearly 250 games for Spurs if you are that poor. He's been there for 9 years, don't you think if he wasn't that good that he would have left before now?

He should be playing more than 250 games in 9 years.Anyway I'm speaking about his recent performances over the last year or two - maybe "poor" was the wrong word but I don't believe he's better than what we have.

He played in the emirates tournament Aswell. Must admit he looked really woeful.

_Fatboyslow_ Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 How the hell would it be a relief? He kept Moore out of the team for the second half of the season and was solid. It would stop me have anxiety attacks when he lumbers in, jumps with his elbows everywhere or when the ref go's to speak to him and didn't Moore pull something ? Bottom line is we took a chance with him last season and he gave us what we needed at times, now I don't believe what he offers is what we need in this leauge.
