NewburyFox Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 I'd prefer Dawson over Was. He'd be my 3rd choice CB.
Bettsj2 Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 I stopped taking your post seriously when you wanted Pearson sacked against Birmingham in the 4th game of last season. Yet you still reply? Good one kiddo.
casablancas Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 I'd take a fit Dawson over Was in a heartbeat both seem to be model pros but Was just isn't in Dawson's league.
KFS Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Why are Anderlecht fans acting like it's a done deal? Am I missing something?
EGBFitness Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Dawson wouldn't come here. Was is better than Dawson. Can't see Was leaving us, seems happy here and is still in contention to be in starting 11, he spent stages of last season on bench waiting for opportunity, that's football! End of.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 He's in the team tonight, can't see him going.

If the prospect of playing for Hull excites Dawson then the prospect of playing for Leicester would make him ejaculate. If we tried, he would be interested, absolutely no doubt about it in my mind. Wasilewski is not better then Dawson, he's not even level with him. Yes, Wasilewski is decent but he's not up to Dawson's standards. I don't know whether he wants to stay or go but I think Nigel would be daft to entertain the idea of getting rid of him, unless he has at least one centre half lined up.
Stevosevic Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 He wouldn't be playing tonight if he was on his way out, risk of injury etc...

What makes City more exciting than Hull? Let's be realistic, I think Leicester are the best team in the world but from a players prospective. They are playing in Europe, have a years Premier experience behind them and their set up is about on par with us- stadium etc Wasn't he from north and his brother play there too? Also isn't huddle stone and Livermore ex team mates of Dawson too!? Was is better, they both have similar experience internationally etc but Was was only realised cause of injury concerns from his horrific injury! He is still loved at Anderlecht. Dawson is a liability at the back, proven internationally and club level, his only played so long for Spurs cause King couldn't string 2 games together! I'm sure Spurs will be happy to see the back of him like they tried last season!
MHC Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 What makes City more exciting than Hull? Bigger stadium, better training facilities, better location, bigger fan base, better history, bigger club, brighter future to name a few. Hull are in the Europa League but not because they earnt it through a finishing position or winning any trophies, they got lucky. They are 1-0 down on aggregate to Lokeren so might not be in it for much longer. I genuinely believe we are a better option then Hull, we might not have better players then Hull now but I think we will have this time in a year.

There's about 5,000 capacity difference between the 2, would a player really be bothered about that? Yeah we have better history and fan base but unless your Barca/Madrid etc I don't think a player is too bothered. I don't know what their training facilities are like so I can't judge that. If he is from up north I'm sure the location would be ideal for him. As a player you look at the present anyways, I don't think his got many years left him in especially at prem so 1/2 years future he'll be looking at. As I said before their in Europe, probs offer bigger wage and has ex team mates there so would be more appealing to him
Solihullfox Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 He will also have spoken to Huddlestone and Livermore ( the ex Spurs players and not a northern solicitors firm ! ) who will no doubt told Dawson how much they are loving it oooop north. With Dawson being a Nottingham lad if I am not mistaken and this move will get him back to his root alomg with way the club has improved ,mates being there and being back close to home would mean this will be a relatively easy decision for him. Still .......Hull is a real dump
Dickov22 Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 It would stop me have anxiety attacks when he lumbers in, jumps with his elbows everywhere or when the ref go's to speak to him and didn't Moore pull something ? Bottom line is we took a chance with him last season and he gave us what we needed at times, now I don't believe what he offers is what we need in this leauge. Agree. Another elbow last night too

Wanted to go back to Anderlecht Nice bit of shit stirring from their chairman. Maybe they shouldn't have got rid of him after his injury.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 9 September 2014 Posted 9 September 2014 If he did want to leave, why would he sign an extension with us? Assuming he signed and wasn't the victim of a GTF-esque extension clause.
Mark_from_USA Posted 9 September 2014 Posted 9 September 2014 If he did want to leave, why would he sign an extension with us? Assuming he signed and wasn't the victim of a GTF-esque extension clause. Shhhhh....You're not supposed to ask obvious, logical questions like this. Why are you so negative?

Wanted to go back to Anderlecht Jaysus fvcking Christ. Herman should keep his piehole tightly shut, instead of spouting such a bull... Yup, Wasyl wanted to go back to Anderlecht and that's why he signed the new contract with L City, immediately after the season ending. Does Van Holsbeeck think people are that dumb?
whitlock Posted 9 September 2014 Posted 9 September 2014 Guessing that he signed the deal before Anderlect interest came about.
lgfualol Posted 9 September 2014 Posted 9 September 2014 Didnt he come to England to get to the Premier league? Anderlecht can have him for 3m in Jan
Witch Posted 9 September 2014 Posted 9 September 2014 Guessing that he signed the deal before Anderlect interest came about Wait a minute, you are suggesting that the Anderlecht dudes slept through the moment they could sign Marcin for free and got interested in him just when he extended his contract? Well, that level of idiocy is too high, even for Herman van H.
Bryn Posted 9 September 2014 Posted 9 September 2014 It's probably true, doesn't mean he won't give his all for us though.
ADK Posted 9 September 2014 Posted 9 September 2014 I doubt it's true, Pearson has always said if someone doesn't want to be here they can leave.
lestajigs Posted 9 September 2014 Posted 9 September 2014 I'm sure 1 of his kids go the Fairfield primary school
