Walshy5 Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 Everyone seemed to be doing their dealings/negotiations at their training ground complexes yesterday when normally they're done at the actual stadiums. Anyone know why this was? Just curious.
Harry - LCFC Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 Too many reporters and attention seekers hanging around outside the ground. They probably prefer to do it somewhere calmer.
Fox92 Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 Because Stringer and Bourne were at the ground.
LcFc_Smiv Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 Managers, first team staff, and players spend majority of the week at the training grounds. You'll rarely find them at the stadium in the week, makes sense to complete the deals there.
Guest Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 Stadiums are packed full of conferences, meetings, parties etc and sold commercially as space for hire. Staff and players spend much time in training grounds as the previous poster said. It's nothing to do with medicals are these aren't even performed at the club.
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 Entry gates and perimeter fencing allows for greater security, meaning the only interaction is with a vehicle entering the facility.
Unabomber Posted 2 September 2014 Posted 2 September 2014 It costs too much to light up the whole stadium and employ cleaners and all that so they do it at the training ground as it is cheaper to sort out.
jamesmilner Posted 3 September 2014 Posted 3 September 2014 Better facilities for completing medicals? only facilities for medicals , fitness tests .
