Female comics enjoy surge in popularity

I went to see Stewart Lee at Edinburgh a couple of years ago and he was terrible. I like his stuff on the tele but that standup show was shocking. He turned up and just seemed like he could not be arsed at all.

Im going to go see John Richardson at De Montfort next week has anybody seen him live? Find him pretty funny on Countdown.

I dont find any female comedian funny. Then again i only see or hear them on Mock the week when they generally get to say about 2 jokes in the whole episode.

Absolutely brilliant.

I don't find females funny tbh.

My missis loves Miranda. She always watches her show. I try and sit through it to see if it's funny but it's not. She's about as funny as a kick in the bollocks.

My missis then wanted to go see her live. I told her she can happily go, but without me.

Saw John Bishop a couple of months ago (got free tickets through work) and he did a Q and A at the end.

The fact my question to him got a bigger laugh than his answer sums it up.

There are decent women comics, sadly rarely get on the "panel show" circuit mind. For me Stewart Lee is the best comedian going by a country mile, can see why people dislike him though.

What was the question?
