Brenfox Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 Has anyone else used this to buy or sell anything? It's ridiculous. I tried to sell an iphone on there & just got nothing but scam emails. Also 9 times out of ten if you contact a seller they never seen to respond. It's just human courtesy. Grrrrr.
Kinowe Soorie Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 Sold a van on there. Had some proper idiots/messers call me though
SystonFox Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 Sold a few bits. A lot of time wasters it seems
pSinatra Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 I had almost a full ton bag of sharp sand that I didn't need & couldn't shift easily. I advertised it on Gumtree at about 10pm on a Saturday, not knowing if anyone would be interested? I was offering it for free to anyone who would collect - all of it & not a bag here & a bag there. The phone rang within a couple of minutes despite it being late on a Saturday night. It was gone by 10am the next morning. I didn't get anything for it, but I managed to save myself a pain in the arse job.

Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 I sold loads of stuff on there almost completely hassle free. Bike leathers, electric drums, a guitar, skateboard, few other bits and bobs. Missus tried to sell a trumpet on there and had an idiot phone a few times trying to convince her to post it to London and once inspected he would send a cheque - don't think he understood how it works Don't really use it for buying, although I did get a bargain on an old motorbike on there Definitely would recommend it for stuff you'd otherwise car boot sale, but probably wouldn't bother with anything that could fetch better money on eBay, Amazon Marketplace or otherwise
Tincy Posted 9 October 2014 Posted 9 October 2014 Sold quite a bit on it now, ranging from TV cabinets, phones, clothes, and just last night sold my old sofas on there, never had any problems at all with it, infanct I prefer it much better than the robbing bastards at eBay!
Merging Cultures Posted 9 October 2014 Posted 9 October 2014 'kin hell, next time you have free shit, you should give your fellow foxes first dibs. Please Once or twice a day I have free shit. I'll make sure to let you know when I am going and I can save it for you.
ousefox Posted 9 October 2014 Posted 9 October 2014 Bought a tele off it last week and it worked a treat. No problems at all
