suffolk fox Posted 26 October 2014 Posted 26 October 2014 Come on guys and gals roll up roll up for Nigel Pearsons tombola? What eleven players will he choose for Wba at home? What formation will he play? What tactics will he deploy? Will he want the players to pass sideways and backwards from forty yards and hope we can squeak a 0 0 Roll up roll up it's anyones guess? Give it a go.

theessexfox Posted 26 October 2014 Posted 26 October 2014 I'm hoping it's 4-4-2, what we do well, with wingers on the wings and King in the middle and no Ritchie De Laet.

Fox92 Posted 26 October 2014 Posted 26 October 2014 I don't really understand this. As a joke, or whatever. You don't just pick your best side and say go on then boys, you pick the team/tactics based on the opposition. We played 442 at home to Burnley, for example, but we wouldn't go to Anfield and do that would we?
Les-TA-Jon Posted 26 October 2014 Posted 26 October 2014 Notice that when ever we are doing alright everyone says "predictable old Nigel never changing the team/formation-we can't just play 442 all season" and then when we have a blip everyone's saying "let's stick to what we know, play our best team, 442!" Earlier in the season we chopped and changed the team according to the opposition whilst also trying to play to our strengths and it got us points. So clearly the problem with this recent run since Man U hasn't been the chopping and changing - it's that we've generally not played well. We've been toothless in attack, poor at the back and sloppy with the ball.
