Why did Pearson start with 4 Central Midfielders?

I didn't go to or watch today's game but am a little baffled as to why Pearson started with 4 central midfielders???

Why did we not play with wingers?? Everyone knows how shit we are when we have no width!!

Pearson has lost the plot if you ask me and whilst I am very grateful for what he has done for Our club I think its time for him to concede that he is not the right man to take us forward.

I think it was to match up with their formation. So again designed to stop them rather than benefit us. We really need to be beating the likes of them at home, or at the very least drawing, if we want to stay up. What was even more baffling was that having started without wingers he then selected only one on the bench!

I think to some extent it worked we controlled the game but Danny let us down, passed went astray or backward far too many times.

No question. The only time we upped the tempo - and quite dramatically - was when they scored. What sort of attitude is that apart from one that will lead us back into the Cahmpionship if it's maintained!
