RonnieTodger Posted 19 November 2014 Posted 19 November 2014 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/picturegalleries/11204948/Ranking-the-atmospheres-at-the-20-Premier-League-grounds-by-Jim-White.html?frame=3093739 Pretty pointless countdown. I went to Old Trafford last week and it was 10x louder than The Britannia. Stoke 2nd . Guessing he hasn't been there since 2010.
Manwell Pablo Posted 19 November 2014 Posted 19 November 2014 A soulless bowl of a new ground Well if nothing else he's got that bang on
ScouseFox Posted 19 November 2014 Posted 19 November 2014 think someone put this in the do they mean us thread. just followed all the cliches really. stoke? DED LOUD!! anfield? FAMUS ATMOSFERE! yawn
Fox92 Posted 19 November 2014 Posted 19 November 2014 I swear these people don't actually go and just judge on what has been said before. Stoke. What a laugh. Only noise that came from them when we went there in September was their abuse at the officials for not getting decisions.
jammie82uk Posted 19 November 2014 Posted 19 November 2014 I would be inclined to believe this more http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/manchester-united-loudest-fans-premier-4602814 It's not perfect or scientific in anyway but at least they used a noise monitor app as opposed to just someone's opinion
dayday Posted 19 November 2014 Posted 19 November 2014 Stoke fans were very quiet when we played them.
Banks Posted 19 November 2014 Posted 19 November 2014 Liverpool 3rd? don't really like Man Utd. But there home atmosphere is far better than Liverpool's.
MPH Posted 19 November 2014 Posted 19 November 2014 I swear these people don't actually go and just judge on what has been said before. Stoke. What a laugh. Only noise that came from them when we went there in September was their abuse at the officials for not getting decisions. Their fans get pretty excited when they see a pass completed along the ground... maybe thats where he gets it from....
HarrogateMackem Posted 19 November 2014 Posted 19 November 2014 I have been too every game home and away for the past four seasons, so that means I have been everywhere but your place. This list is complete rubbish, Arsenal and Man U are the worst in the league no question. Liverpool famed for its atmosphere is just as bad except for YNWA (its clear the guy hasn't actually been there) Sunderland get an empty seat joke we still get over 40,000 fans which makes a hell of a noise, especially for a team that does shite all year... clearly not the best but no way worse then most on that list, Same with the Mags who can make a hell of a noise but when the football is shite the mood is dampened. Stoke City is a complete joke they were good when they first game up but nothing since. Everton, City, Swansea and West Brom are good atmospheres... West Brom is the best by far IMO.
????? Posted 19 November 2014 Posted 19 November 2014 Palace have just got one section of fans which the rest of the ground relys on and the press rave about. They have been crap all 4 times I've been there
HarrogateMackem Posted 19 November 2014 Posted 19 November 2014 Palace have just got one section of fans which the rest of the ground relys on and the press rave about. They have been crap all 4 times I've been there this, honestly those 250 odd fans are great but when they were losing against us two weeks ago the stadium was silent but for the "ultras" and our away fans
