In the previous 22 seasons in the PL, only 8 bottom teams have had the same amount or less points than us at Christmas.

Only two teams (West Brom 04/05 and Sunderland 13/14) have survived having been in our position.

We look doomed... but then so did Sunderland last season. You never know.

Sunderland were doomed too, so even as recent as last season the bottom at Christmas thing has proved it can be broken.

It's now about the January signings as Pearson has proved he can't play in a way that these players can get results with them coming up short time & time again, which after being the best promoted side for a few years is bizarre.

Although, for me we played a really open 442 for far too long and against some really ordinary sides who beat us with ease despite the close scorelines, switching to 3 in the middle made us look much better against Man City, although come on, it's Man City... we were never going to win that, nor were we at Upton Park with only one win there in 35 years

The next two games however, are winnable, 4 pts ahead of new signings and we may just do it

Be great if the fans were with the players next time out & the players responded to it like they did against Everton, Arsenal & Utd

Can I just point out West Brom and Sunderland in the seasons they stayed up when bottom at Christmas both had 10 points at Christmas. And Sunderland had a 9 losses out of 10 in Feb/March this year.

We're going down, we're going down, we're goin, we are going down!

Roll on next season in the championship with Pearson in charge!!! I for one cannot wait!
