Fox92 Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Just watched it. Although Nigel's reaction, as much as I love it, probably shouldn't happen the reporter does ask a few stupid questions there.
Donut Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Just watched it. Although Nigel's reaction, as much as I love it, probably shouldn't happen the reporter does ask a few stupid questions there. Dear god, what is this forum coming to. Ridiculous
inckley fox Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 It's not professional, yet again, and as a poster on another thread said, we're becoming a laughing stock because of a combination of his misbehaviour and mismanagement of the side. It's funny, yes, but it all adds to the image of a man who can't cope. And that's very worrying.

Read back what youve written. You find it funny that the man who is in charge of this club, has tantrums reguarly, cant control his temper, is easily wound up, and is highly unprofessional. "Probably" shouldnt happen. No probably about it.

cityfanlee23 Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Just watched it. Although Nigel's reaction, as much as I love it, probably shouldn't happen the reporter does ask a few stupid questions there. And completely twists what steve bruce said, I'd have told him to **** off and never speak to his source again...
Donut Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Hallmark of the desperate-to-be-offended culture in which we live Hardly. So far this season weve watched our manager, the figurehead of our club: Tell a fan to FOAD Strangle a player Get into a public spat with a club legend, talking about tax bills and slagging off pundits paid to give opinions on tv Put a ban on communication with local radio Tell a journalist that is is a p***k Funny that i havent seen any other managers do that this season. Highly unprofessional.
Fox92 Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Read back what youve written. You find it funny that the man who is in charge of this club, has tantrums reguarly, cant control his temper, is easily wound up, and is highly unprofessional. "Probably" shouldnt happen. No probably about it. "Easily wound up". The guy is asking some stupid questions as well as twisting what Steve Bruce said. He has seen us three times this season, sums it up. And I take it you've never seen the likes of Ferguson swear then?
MHC Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 He's an embarrassment to this football club. Why does he feel the need to have these outbursts at people who are merely doing their job? When he isn't doing his properly (which is all the time), anyone who moans about it gets told to "f#ck off and die". The irony of his hypocrisy is embarrassing. Can't wait to crack open the champagne when this idiot gets sacked.

The sort of hyperbole which discredits so much criticism of Pearson which is at times justified.
Donut Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 "Easily wound up". The guy is asking some stupid questions. And I take it you've never seen the likes of Ferguson swear then? I think its widely accepted that this sort of behaviour in a press conference: 1) makes the manager look a bit silly, trying to play "hard man", not deserving of respect and unable to control his emotions 2) Fuels the desire from the media to provoke him even further because they know he has a weakness which gives them material everyone else will laugh at 3) Makes our club look rather silly as we become news for the wrong reasons, sit bottom of the league and with a manager that has the media skills of a meat pie 4) Gives everyone up and down the country a reason to laugh at us. I dont think theres any questions left you can actually ask him. What a baby.
MC Prussian Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Hardly. So far this season weve watched our manager, the figurehead of our club: Tell a fan to FOAD and rightly so (although some may argue about that) Strangle a player oh no, he didn't Get into a public spat with a club legend, talking about tax bills and slagging off pundits paid to give opinions on tv neither Pearson nor Lineker came out good after that tête-à-tête Put a ban on communication with local radio The players did, Pearson followed after - and it's not like RL is the epicentre of everything football-related Tell a journalist that is is a p***k and he may actually be right about that, you know Funny that i havent seen any other managers do that this season. Highly unprofessional. Anything else you feel so easily offended about?
cityfanlee23 Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Hardly. So far this season weve watched our manager, the figurehead of our club: Tell a DICKHEAD to FOAD - So would I, he deserved getting a kicking with the personal abuse he was screaming at Nigel for over 30 minutes. Strangle a player - You're playing that like the media and that is not how it panned out. Overexaggeration. Get into a public spat with a club legend, talking about tax bills and slagging off pundits paid to give opinions on tv - Something a "Club legend" shouldnt be getting into, he done more damage than good to the CLUB, Both in the wrong. Put a ban on communication with local radio - Can you blame him? Have you seen how Ian Stringer operates? the blokes a slimey little snake. Tell a journalist that is is a p***k - After he twisted steve bruce' words to try to get nigel to publicly slate bruce back for his own shitty little paper Funny that i havent seen any other managers do that this season. Highly unprofessional. Maybe I'm just as unprofessional but I think all of these cases have been vastly over exaggerated due to our league position.
Callabinho Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 It was a two footed lunge, should have been a red....****....
Donut Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Anything else you feel so easily offended about? Its quite simple as i see things, do you see other managers acting like this on a regular basis? No. Now why might that be?
cjslcfc Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 He's an embarrassment to this football club. Hmmmmm. "anyone" you say...
MHC Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 We only had one fan moan all season then? The sort of hyperbole which discredits so much criticism of Pearson which is at times justified. There is no way to justify Pearson's poor reactions without sounding like an idiot. He is a clown.
sly1 Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Pearson man up you idiot this is our leicester go away not needed anymore cheero cheero cheero. Leicester till I die
cityfanlee23 Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Its quite simple as i see things, do you see other managers acting like this on a regular basis? No. Now why might that be? Normally these things go unnoticed, but in this instance it's all been blown out of proportion by the media because we are bottom.
MHC Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Hmmmmm. "anyone" you say... If you are trying to justify Pearson's actions then you are an idiot, like him.
sly1 Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Pearson is a joke making leicester look like a laughing stock
inckley fox Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 "Easily wound up". The guy is asking some stupid questions as well as twisting what Steve Bruce said. He has seen us three times this season, sums it up. And I take it you've never seen the likes of Ferguson swear then? He was a much better manager, he and his teams coped outstandingly well with pressure. Pearson is, up to now, a dreadful manager at this level, he and his team have coped outstandingly badly with pressure. Spasms in the leg can be a symptom of over-exercise, they can also be a symptom of Parkinson's Disease, if you see what I mean.
cjslcfc Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 If you are trying to justify Pearson's actions then you are an idiot, like him. In what way am I trying to justify his actions. I'm just merely pointing out the sort of exaggeration that is used here and in the media. In what world has absolutely any fan who has moaned been told to "**** off and die". It was one fan. One arsehole fan by all accounts. He shouldn't have said it but it doesn't in any way highlight that "anyone who moans about it gets told to **** off and die".
