Deucalion Posted 19 March 2015 Posted 19 March 2015 Only one way to find out... FIIIGGGGHHHHHTTTT !!!
cc_star Posted 19 March 2015 Author Posted 19 March 2015 This.. I've said all season I think Cambiasso slows us down too much. James and Drinkwater know each others game..they have that partnership thing going on. Same with Nugent and Vardy. We attack far too slowly this year. Partnerships, partnerships, partnerships We've lost that, we've lost the extra x% you gain by people just knowing. Drinkwater & James were at it last season, but Nugent & Vardy excelled at it, in fact Nugent had a few partnerships going off, he combined excellently with Dyer out wide when needed & also an attacking midfield pushing into the box. This is also a reason Burnley are making a fist of staying up, they haven't lost that x% by breaking up so many of their key partnerships that help makes teams greater than the sum of their parts
Dan Posted 19 March 2015 Posted 19 March 2015 Last year's would wallop this year as it had the mentality to. We have regressed as quickly as we improved.
jammie82uk Posted 19 March 2015 Posted 19 March 2015 Because i didnt see De Laet and Schlupp playing as midfielders, i didnt see Mahrez playing as a forward, and i didnt see Kramaric playing through the middle. The touches map in the other post doesnt show 3-4-3 either. But i got a one day ban last time i had a difference of opinion so im probably better just being labelled wrong instead. De Laet and Schlupp was very noticeably further forward they played more like defensive wingers then anything else with morgan and upson coving the space when we was attacking you didnt see Kramaric playing through the middle because he didnt he was playing on the left with vardy though the middle
smudger63 Posted 19 March 2015 Posted 19 March 2015 Don't live up to your username How did you not see that formation being played out in the game Well he`s certainly not on his own, because i certainly didn`t see our formation as 3-4-3. Pearson said after the game that was the formation, so i assume that was the intention, but for me the full backs weren`t playing far enough forward to suggest that was the formation that was being played. I felt sorry for Kramaric too, who looked a little lost, as if he wasn`t sure of whether he was supposed to stay out on the left, or come inside and support Vardy, and in the end done neither to any effect. In fact the whole team didn`t really look as if they were sure of they were supposed to be doing against Hull!

I blame Wellens Posted 19 March 2015 Posted 19 March 2015 Be funny to see one team taking corners and the other team trying to defend them.Don't know how deliberate. But this has to be the best post ever on Foxestalk can someone give this man a prize. I would truly love to see our team defend our own corners. It could be the funniest thing seen on a football field. Would we score against ourselves?
I blame Wellens Posted 20 March 2015 Posted 20 March 2015 Or would the ball go out for a throw every time?
MC Prussian Posted 20 March 2015 Posted 20 March 2015 It would definately end 0-0 !! I'm sure there'd be an own goal in there somewhere!
