Guest Posted 23 March 2015 Posted 23 March 2015 'Top players like Albrighton' The same Albrighton who was mostly sub last 18 months at Villa, same Albrighton who my villa supporting friend said 'tries hard but lacks any pace or real quality' - BANG ON. So hilarious how players out of the side suddenly become world beaters. If he was good enough, he'd be playing. He's performed largely when given the chance. No coincidence he's not been seen since his bird celebrated Pearson's departure on Twitter.
LcFc_Smiv Posted 23 March 2015 Posted 23 March 2015 Lets be honest the post that criticised Pearson before yours was unbalanced and a load of accusations that are wide of the mark and unproved, is it any wonder those who back Pearson struggle to take some of the arguments against him seriously with the pure hatred of how they are written. I changed justfoxes post at an attempt to make a more compelling argument and I know I would find it harder to disagree with it if I wasn't having to sift through personal insults and constant 'ego' 'mates' 'abusing fans' comments that are always included. And we won't win games leaving out a creative player like Albrighton and a capable goalscorer such as Kramaric, whilst playing a centre back who has made a number of mistakes in Morgan, even though we have looked pretty strong with a back four containing Wasilewski! Pearson still doesn't seem to know what his strongest 11 at this stage of the season which is fairly concerning, surely such a lack of consistency is damaging. He can't rely just on those players who got the job done last season, ok Morgan got a goal Saturday but his ratio of goals to his defensive mishaps letting players past him etc out ways any positives! Pearsons team selections and tactics are a cause for concern, for one reason or another, we don't know what the issue with Albrighton is but we are missing a player who can deliver some dangerous crosses as seen in some of his breif appearances perfect crosses. I used to be Pearson fan, but now far to fed up with his constant tinkering last minute substitutions team selections and nonsensical formations his media handling and foul language towards a fan and a journalist comes across as unprofessional and doesn't reflect well on the club !! . I'm hoping we can still avoid the drop[/quote Cheers bud thanks for making it such a compelling argument for me sorry for the misuse of Ego mates etc !!!!! I guess it always is going to be a case of opinion, it just seems to me that his faults lie with his selections, tactics and substitutions. When people start brandishing about comments about his attitude and that he picks his mates, I don't know just feels like it loses credibility.
Dickov22 Posted 23 March 2015 Posted 23 March 2015 He ain't playing because Pearsons ego to what albrightons Mrs posted on Twitter and lambert was a knob Albrighton can change games and he has done when he's eventually played !! What a thoroughly intelligent, well thought out and articulate argument you present He's performed largely when given the chance. No coincidence he's not been seen since his bird celebrated Pearson's departure on Twitter. Vardy's missus does the same. I very much doubt NP gives a shit.

I very much doubt NP gives a shit. Yes and I asume you have a masters in philosophy or something my good friend !!If you prefer it more eloquently Mr Albrighton's other half posted something rather distasteful for Mr Pearsons liking so he has refused to play or even pop Mr Albrighton on the bench my fellow fox fans ! Is that better for you Master Dickov22 ?
dsr-burnley Posted 23 March 2015 Posted 23 March 2015 ....Sunderland and Burnley have stinking run ins..... Burnley have home games v. Spurs and Arsenal, and then finish with yourselves, Hull, Villa, West Ham, Stoke, and Everton (not in that order). Not really "stinking". Were you thinking of Hull City? Theirs really is a bad run-in.

They need to get a life just because someone posts just don't sit right in their own little world, just chill some posters get passionate about their posts and don't take as much care as some people would like ! So all you grammar police just chill out and let people post what the hell they like without being criticised fot the way they spell or post in their own articulate manner. Just stop the insults the little digs and just remember we are all Leicester City fans and we have our own opinions whether you like it or not, it doesn't need an insult just because you disagree with that poster just a decent reply would do. I know some posters on here put some tripe on here but come on people just remember we are all on the same side, well most of the time until we get ghost tree posters. And once someone insulted the way I posted but I'm not a boaster and wouldn't want to belittle that person with my qualifications etc and there are some on here I can tell are educated people and it doesn't need them to lower theirselves to certain folk, but please folk keep the insults to the non Leicester fans and remember we live in a democratic society and everyone is allowed their own opinion so let's have good friendly banter not insult each other !! (Now waiting for the onslaught of the grammar police !! ).
Nuneaton.Fox Posted 24 March 2015 Posted 24 March 2015 Really???, you reall think this you obviously didnt go to any pre season games he still third choice keeper but his time will come its just that Kasper and Mark are better than him at the moment If you look at the performances this season both Kasper and Schwarzer ship about 2 goals per game, Hamer's average less than one per game. Result is that points per game are Kasper 0.5, Schwarzer 0.1 and Hamer 1.25. I know who I'd prefer in goal.

Gerard Posted 24 March 2015 Posted 24 March 2015 After doing the Predictor thread I had 31 points as safety. Chances are if it goals to goal difference the only team we need to fear is Hull. We need four wins and against: West Ham (H) Newcastle (H) Swansea (H) QPR (H) We will go into all these matches as bookies favourites ableit odds against all apart from QPR. The matches against: Sunderland (A) Burnley (A) are vital and must not lose matches as it stops them gaining on us. If we don't win at least three of the six matches above us we may need to beat one of these: West Brom (A) Southampton (H) Chelsea (H) We could possibly stay up with 12 points from our last nine games, we're far from dead and buried.

Seeing as we're bottom, the only teams 'gaining' on us currently are bournemouth and watford. what are you on about? you think we'll be above burnley after playing west ham, west brom, and swansea??? my god.
NotTheMarketLeader Posted 24 March 2015 Posted 24 March 2015 We need to be playing something like a 4-2-2-2 Ulloa and kramaric have shown their best traits as strikers have been poaching the box, you only have to look at previous goals scored by both at previous clubs, Ulloas form came early on when the ball was being played into the box or atleast when he was able to get in there, it's clear our two record signings have a natural poachers instinct. Nigel has completely played against that, and has Jeff on the left wing who cant cross to save his life, and mahrez on the right, who does not play the traditional winger role, and cuts in more often than not. The only way for us to start scoring goals again is go back to the tried and tested in my opinion, we arent good enough for the 4-4-2 a this level as we've established, our wingers are not playing the 4-4-2 wide midfielder role. everytime schlupp gets space he runs and never crosses until he is right on the byline, meaning the ball has no pace and is going away from goal... Mahrez does the same, or the same old cut in and cross it with his left which plays to the defenders strengths... Get albrighton on (our best crosser) Get Mahrez on the left wing (so he can cross with his favoured left foot) Or knockaert. Have 2 box to box midfielders (one given a free role to move forward, the other being cambiasso who's job is to get forward when he can but ultimately keep a tight midfield. Defenders bloody defend and only support the attack when neccesary, Get ulloa and Kramaric IN THE BOX, And pump that ball in behind the defence and let them bloody attack it. 9/10 whenever Ulloa or kramaric get the ball they are dropped back into midfield, how the hell does nigel expect us to score??? we are defenders dream. Go back to the tried and tested, Get the ball into the box, let the strikers and advancing midfielders attack it. THIS. Agree completely re: Kramaric and Ulloa - the goals they have scored are from very few chances. These two need to be in the box, but his tactics have employed them since October, and in Kramaric's case, since he arrived, everywhere but the box. Mahrez needs to be on the left for the reasons you state if you are to play him. Albrighton tailor made for Ulloa, but Pearson can't see what's blatently obvious. Vardy & Nuge have their strengths also, as they proved Saturday where they did very well, where teams pllay a high line and they can use their pace. Common sense said they won't be as effective when the opposition drop deep negating that pace. Again something that Pearson has failed to grasp, and where we have majorly struggled against the lesser sides. With a modicum of tactical nous I contend we would not be relegated.

Haha, "gaining" was probably not the best word to use. How about point expectation? On the predictor thread I expected the table to end up like this: Aston Villa 38 Leicester 33 Hull 32 --------------------------- Sunderland 31 Burnley 30 QPR 26 So points expectation would be: Leicester 14 Aston Villa 10 Sunderland 5 Burnley 5 QPR 4 Hull 4 So by gaining I mean on their point expectation.
