Compared to the first innings that's a decent effort and probably be enough but it's not good enough really is it. Some unplayable balls yes but also some decent positions just chucked away.

If we had someone like rehan in there, or another spinning all rounder that could bat in the top 6. Stokes would be number 8 these days.

You can normally rely on New Zealand to do the basics like catching. Could cost them this match. Gay looks decent but should've been out in the slips, most good innings need a bit of luck in them.

Great effort from the bowlers but again batting scorecards like this will be the death of Test cricket. May be needed in the second innings but may as well play the extra batter than Bashir.

Not followed the story until reading a bit today but what was the motive? What led to the stabbing? Just random attack on someone walking past or were they known to each other? I understand it may be difficult to know what's happened when 2 sides are telling a story, without any information but to blatantly ignore someone when they repeatedly say they've stabbed is disgraceful. You have to investigate it.
