  1. Dipping into the new season with the Shenzhen Open qualifiers. Chang Bingyu has just won 5-0 with breaks of 147, 135, 134, 109 & 83. Surely he wins his first title this season.
  2. His replacement is waiting in the wings as a free agent…
  3. Cleary would be a Mavididi replacement if he leaves, but I agree with Moore, as much as I’d love Leicester to prove me wrong, I just think the likes of Cleary and Ballard will make a step up to the Championship, and will probably cost too much anyway.
  4. Fatawu replacement
  5. Look what a bit of pace can do
  6. Have a friend who’s a Northampton season ticket holder, he said that Jake Evans looked better when played out wide last season, wasn’t convinced that he’s at the level yet to play a lone striker role at League 1 level. I could see Evans and Carr competing to be backup for the RW spot, with a more senior player coming in to replace Fatawu. Otchere has staked a decent enough claim to be our third choice striker this season. Still think an experienced striker comes in now the Ings move is off, but what we also need is a first choice striker capable of getting 15-20 goals. Hopefully Aluko and Joseph will be competing for the RB spot this season. While you expect the trio of Braybrooke, Page and Alves to feature the most. Would still like to see Braybrooke be given an opportunity in the 6 role, but with that trio all capable of playing a 8/10 role, that position is pretty covered with Chaplin now signed. The biggest headache will be getting our centre backs right imo. Faes, Okoli, Souttar and Nelson all likely to leave, Wilson-Brown and Gray will be the only two remaining. Compared to some of our other youngsters, I need a bit more convincing that they are equipped to be 3rd/4th choice centre backs this season. If we have any money to spend, then centre back along with striker needs the most investment.
  7. No doubt the backup list will read as Lyndon Dykes Paul Mullin Will Keane Jay Rodriguez Mikael Mandron
  8. If that’s how you feel don’t bother watching mate. They’ll be many fans though that will be glad to see the youngsters coming through, while being relieved that the likes of Ayew, Daka, Winks, Vestergaard will never put a Leicester shirt on again.
  9. I think we yet again saw reasons for positivity today. With the youngsters coming through, we finally have a reason to care again. Seeing the likes of Aluko, Braybrooke, Page, Alves, Carr it makes you excited and motivated to watch Leicester City, something which has been badly missing over the past few seasons. We’ve already got rid of some of the shit, but if the likes of Okoli and Faes follow, it will feel like a massive weight has been lifted. I thoroughly expect a few to stay, probably Choudhury and Thomas being the main two, but if we can bring in the right experience and quality to mix with these exciting youngsters, maybe we can finally start to feel optimistic.
  10. Fantastic play by Aluko
  11. Tyrese Noslin and Ilias Bronkhorst say hello
  12. I’ve landed on two Eredivisie strikers, Noah Naujoks(Excelsior) and Koen Kostons(PEC Zwolle). Naujoks is a mixture of striker and attacking midfielder, Kostons is someone who can play with his back to goal and link play, he’s been linked to Hearts. But if we are well and truly fvcked spending wise, then it will probably be a Premier League or Championship loan, or… MIKAEL MANDRON ON A FREE
  13. He’ll for sure move somewhere, but would be too risky imo as a first choice striker. Solid shout Ric, someone I’ve also been looking at as he ticks numerous boxes. I just have an annoying suspicion that he comes in the same category as Tolaj and Ballard, will probably move somewhere higher for £3-5 million.
