  1. Apart from the promoted sides, even the weakest sides in the Premiership are relatively established. Ignoring cup games, I don’t see this current Leicester squad beating Bournemouth, Fulham, Palace, Everton and so on. I think we’ll struggle without very strong additions. And we’ll have to mix up how we play (which was my point). We won’t dominate teams next season.
  2. It’s actually a bit of a redundant question imo. Last season we could get away with how we played. Ie keeping the ball, retaining posession and grinding teams down. Why could we do that? Simply we had the best squad with many of the better players. Next season, we won’t be able to keep the ball for long periods of time. The opposition will just win it back and then retain it for longer themselves. The playing style will have to change or we’ll get hammered most weeks I suspect.
  3. Fascinates me how the excuses are coming out even before the tournament kicks off. I’ve heard over the past week that Foden isn’t as good as we make him out to be, that Kane is past his best, that the defence aren’t good enough etc etc. The reality is we have a squad that is every bit good enough to win this tournament. Foden scored 27 goals last season, in all competitions. And that’s from midfield. Kane was one of Europe’s top marksmen. Bellingham won the Champions League with Madrid. It’s time to stop making excuses and for this country to believe in itself again and to play on the front-foot. The ONLY thing stopping this from happening is the manager. If he puts the shackles on these players again, because he’s scared of being beaten, then he will lose this tournament.
  4. What’s dreadful show! England were shite, the happy clappers were silent! And Lurch/Shrek were incredibly boring. A couple of hours of my life I shan’t get back…
  5. I’d rather you don’t post.. 😉
  6. Nonsense. Foden is a brilliant young footballer. It’s only in boring Southgate’s teams that he looks like this.
  7. I read last week that the UK is currently considered the most ‘woke’ country on earth. It’s probably why we win sod-all these days. Are people REALLY that bothered? Just take the general election this time. Apparently ‘the voters’ are the most apathetic ever! At least so far anyway.
  8. Wouldn’t it be refreshing and possibly the kick up the arse these players need, if all the happy clappers booed them off at the end, for giving them such little enjoyment. It won’t again of course, the UK is far too woke. But it’d be so refreshing to see.
  9. Anyone watching this shit? It’s like it’s being played behind closed doors. Both on and off the field… utter tripe
  10. Can’t say I’m enamored with Cooper. Did well to get Forest up, but I don’t think he’s anything special. It’s going to be a really tough season imo.
  11. @Unabomber AS I SAID BEFORE, Enzo can’t lose. It’s a 5 yr contract apparently so if/when he fooks up, it’ll be a HUUUUUGE payoff! Just wanted to clarify that 😉
  12. 1. Who says? 2. That’s far too late (Unless you were being ironic, in which case… 👍)
