Lineker's Left Foot Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 What film, that others tend to dislike, could you watch again and again?? Mine is Close Encounters Of The Third Kind. It has everything IMO. Best Sci-Fi movie - (not counting Star Wars Series as in 6 films), suspense, effects, love/relationships, shock (aliens are good), scariness (when young boy abducted), comedy in some parts, sadness and an amazing movie soundtrack !!! It is a great film that is so warm at the end. Anyone like this or other movies???

Funny anecdote about "Close Encounters...": Did you know that François Truffaut - one of the French New Wave pioneers - played a part in it? I had seen the movie the last time a few years back, but couldn't remember him being in it - until I read one of his books. I like the creepy classic

Filbert_Ross Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 Football Factory Kevin And Perry Go Large. my head would cave in if I had to watch them over and over again.
Webbo Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 Maximum Masturbation 3 in my opinion the acting wasn't as good as in maximum masturbation 2.
Libertine Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 in my opinion the acting wasn't as good as in maximum masturbation 2. Well to be fair it was a hard act to follow.
Filbert_Ross Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 in my opinion the acting wasn't as good as in maximum masturbation 2. ive not seen that one, the story would make so much more sense if I watched them in order.

Flynny Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 Sorry to drag this off topic, but what was wrong with it? I completely loved it and it's had generally great reviews. One the one hand, it was an extraordinarily clever pastiche, and at the same time it was as stupid as fook. Something for everyone.
Flynny Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 I think it looks great tbh. Go see it. Seriously, when I got back, I was close to posting a 'Go and see Hot Fuzz' thread, I was that impressed. One of those films where you've just got a big dopey grin on your face the entire way through. Dalton's pretty class in it.
Alexikokopops Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 You can always trust Simon Pegg, ever since the days of Spaced. Ooh I do love a bit of Spaced.
