Forest rematch behind closed doors?

considering their part ( going to the ref and offering to do whatever leicester wanted to do about the game):

i would be suprised if people had to pay for a full ticket price- i douibt they would want to be seen as profiting from a man going into cardiac arrest.

however.. cosidering the actions of some fans... i reckon they will take into account the high tension involved surrounding the behavior outside the ground and i dont think they will have it behind closed doors.

BUT the police presence will be much greater.. loads and loads more police- Police cost money. they cant of worked for free because the game was abandoned and i can see people with a ticket having to pay somthing like £5 to cover policing costs, and the fact there will be more police at the game. ect.

Am I the only one that thinks the game should start in the second half with the score at 1-0 to Forest?

Not going to happen.

If the game was started from the beggining i think it would be sporting to give them a goal and then play the 90mins,we would feel the same if it was us who were 1 up.

Doesnt matter which team it was to be fair. The team cant be responsible for the actions of there fans.

Exactly.

Also, Forest didn't have to stop the game. And there's a good chance if they'd carried on, we'd have got pasted, because I can't imagine any of our players being in the mood to, well, play.

All things considered, I don't think giving them back a lead they deservedly held is too far out of the equation.

Yep. Just because its our rivals doesnt mean it should be any different to playing Yeovil or anyone. Our players would have played alot worse in the second half,as you say the lead was deservedly held so they shouldnt lose that.

Im quite glad the game did stop...obviously i wish it was another reason...but we didnt look like we wer in the mood to play anyway we wer poor 1st half i was expectin better from the team that batterd watford on saturday but ohh well i dnt like to moan :) i just hope the game isnt played behind closed doors because we all paid gd money 2 watch 90 minutes and only gt 45

i believe at the rematch we should score an own goal from the kick off to show appreciation to forest staff

Absolutely right...........it's the honourable thing to do. Forest deserved their lead and we owe them for abandoning the match.

And by doing so you drop to their level...........take the moral high ground and give them the goal.

Just give em the game anyway. It was quite clear from the evidence of last night that we were never interested in winning it so why bother going through the motions?

Tell Forest we appreciate their good intentions and hope they get through to the final.

Any victory for us will feel shabby anyway.

We should go back when we can do our club justice.

I can actualy see the game not going ahead full stop, but if it does then i would'nt really mind too much if you didnt give us the goal back because if we went on to win it would seem a hollow victory and we don't really want that.

Also if it was Warnock in charge last night we would have never let the game be abandoned, just goes to show what a top bloke calderwood is...shame hes a poor manager though lol

i wud be pissed off if it had bin the other way rnd nit was there player n we wa a goal up...but i would never expect forest to give us a goal so thats y i dnt think we shud...im sure if it was us we'd be like ****in forest we shud start witha goal meh meh meh but its no where in the rules soo start from 0-0 n see hu is the better team on the nite :)

So just because YOU think forest (whoever 'forest' constitutes to) would opt to not give us a goal we should give the same response assuming the boot was on the other foot. Oh and sort your English out you thick chav

Behind closed doors?

No way.

Like I said on another thread, we couldn't break the cordon. Reds SUPPOSEDLY out in force, but Ijust saw young idiots.

God nows were there main boys were, no real trouble all night.

Friend of a friend knows some Forest old boys so if you want to give me your address I'm sure I can sort that out for you.

I think most of them take two spoons of splender in their tea and chocey bourbon biscuits are a must.

I'd insure your house as well.
