demon_dog Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Have just heard that there are calls for game to take place behind closed doors, to prevent a repeat of last nights trouble.
Karlos Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Have just heard that there are calls for game to take place behind closed doors, to prevent a repeat of last nights trouble. How much trouble was there, i only saw what was in the ground, then got straight on the coach. What are the regs about refunds on tickets etc if played 45 mins though?

Geo V Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Things are so heated at the moment that I think things will kick off. I didn't go yesterday but I am so fooked off with the Forest fans for disrespecting the situation in the stadium and then carrying on outside that I plan to come to the rematch to offer my support.
Daggers Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 What are the regs about refunds on tickets etc if played 45 mins though? You want the short answer? You don't get one.
Mort Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Was there that much trouble.. We walked back through a big crowd of Forrest fans and were wearing city shirts, scarfs etc... and there were only three of us, just didnt seem too bad to me, nothing more than you'd expect at a derby game. So doubt it'll be behind close doors... either way if we've got tickets shouldnt tickets remain valid for the re-play?!
Trumpet Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 What dya reckon will happen with the rematch? Will we get another ticket or will we be paying?
weggy1976 Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 We turned out the car park and went left......apparently Forest fans always congregate waiting for the away fans......they were all mainly kids no older than 18......chanting "wheres your famous baby squad". Saw one city fan get trampled on by horse and whacked by copper. Other than that the police over reaction made it all seem alot more than what it really was. When the Plymouth game got abandoned due to weather we got free tickets didn't we? This abandonment is similar......i.e. out of control of fans.
dandannieldanok Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Will we get another ticket or will we be paying? I fear they will make us pay again simply because they know we would sell them quickly.
Stevosevic Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 I fear they will make us pay again simply because they know we would sell them quickly. Bastards, i don't see myself paying again and paying for petrol from Norwich again. If tickets are free then i will go.
Mort Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Well I'm not paying again. Ditto... out of interest would the game be at the City Ground again or would it switch to the Walkers?
dandannieldanok Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 There is hope: http://www.nottinghamforest.premiumtv.co.u...1101366,00.html
Trumpet Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Actually im not too bothered about paying again, i could pay for the ticket. But do i want to pay that much for the coach, if they play like that? No chance.

davieG Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 I suspect they will go part way, bring your ticket stub and get a reduced price, if MM's feeling generous he might put some free buses on. From OS Leicester City supporters who attended last night's abandoned Carling Cup tie against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground are being advised to keep hold of their ticket stubs. Discussions are taking place between the two clubs, the Football League and other interested authorities - including the police - regarding the re-arrangement of the fixture. An announcement will be made as soon as possible, but in the meantime supporters are urged not to dispose of their ticket stubs. The game was abandoned at half-time after defender Clive Clarke collapsed in the dressing room. From Forest OS Nottingham Forest have appealed to supporters who attended last night's abandoned Carling Cup tie with Leicester to keep hold of their ticket stubs. Discussions are taking place between the two clubs, the Football League and other interested authorities - including the police - regarding the re-arrangement of the fixture. An announcement will be made as soon as possible but in the meantime supporters are urged not to dispose of their ticket stubs. A Forest spokesman said: "There are many uncertainties, not least because a date for the re-arranged game has yet to be finalised. "We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but would encourage fans to keep hold of their tickets from the original tie."
Simi Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 If the Police have anything to do with the decsion I'd expect it to be behind closed doors. It would be a great shame and I'd be gutted if they did.
Zingari Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 i believe at the rematch we should score an own goal from the kick off to show appreciation to forest staff
Fez of Mahrez Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 i believe at the rematch we should score an own goal from the kick off to show appreciation to forest staff Get Mad Frank back on loan. He'd take care of business.
LE8Blue Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 free buses would be great half price on tickets maybe £2 for me if that hppens
Lord Nibblington Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Get Mad Frank back on loan. He'd take care of business. So would we have him on for the kick off, let him launch a rocket of an own goal, and then sub him straight off, white boots a flashing?
Wils Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 i believe at the rematch we should score an own goal from the kick off to show appreciation to forest staff Possibly. I didnt no there was much trouble? I didnt see anything going on outside the ground
Zingari Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Get Mad Frank back on loan. He'd take care of business. i was only saying to give them "1" goal start
Dames Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 I suspect they will go part way, bring your ticket stub and get a reduced price, if MM's feeling generous he might put some free buses on.From OS From Forest OS Some!?! Whoever still has thier coach stub should get free travel because we had to put up with the shower of sh*t that was on the pitch and then the whole saddening Clarke Affair.
