Simi Posted 30 November 2007 Posted 30 November 2007 Sheep, I remember celebrating that goal with you. I will never, ever forget that.
Micky Ruddle Posted 30 November 2007 Posted 30 November 2007 I love watching these clips....they were the days with Frank and Gerry!
WetFlannel Posted 30 November 2007 Posted 30 November 2007 its only just sank in how much im annoyed we didnt win now
Tommeh Posted 30 November 2007 Author Posted 30 November 2007 Quite simply the greatest video that exists in my opinion. Hats off to the chelsea fan who did it Love the fans reactions it just looks like on great big fight has broken out. The memory of THAT goal will remain with me forever And for everything Carl cort does wrong in a city shirt please remember that goal.

Carragher Posted 30 November 2007 Posted 30 November 2007 Gutted you boys didn't win, certainly turned a few heads around Anfield when we played Cardiff...
ASH17LCFC Posted 1 December 2007 Posted 1 December 2007 I don't get why people go on and on about this. You make out it is our greatest ever game. People who go on and on about this can't have supported leicester for longer then 5 years. There's been way better games then this and we lost. Atletico Madrid in the Uefa cup ... Home and Away. We took the lead in Madrid and that was a much better feeling then Corts goal at chelsea. The home game was 100 times better then chelsea and we outplayed one of the best teams in europe at the time. The ref cheated us. Best atmosphere at Filbert St under O Neil. Leeds at home in the cup ... Was losing 1-0 and we got a peno in the last mins. Parker put it away and thinking about Extra time but Izzet chip one in from around 40 yards to win it ... Great night. Fulham in the cup ... losing 2-0 with 5 mins to go and pulled it back to 2-2 and ended 3-3 and went on win on peno's. Great night. There's been so many better cup games during the years and i laugh when people go about Chelsea in the carling cup ... Give me Simon Grayson scoring at wimbledon in the semi final of the cup anyday.
Alexikokopops Posted 1 December 2007 Posted 1 December 2007 Whenever I get pissed off or depressed I always put the 1994 playoff final on. We play so bad and we play absolutely awful football while Derby dominate us, but when Ormondroyd heads the ball, Taylor saves and Walshy pokes home I can't help but smile for the next 4 days. I still celebrate like a mental when we score that goal, even though I know it's coming. EDIT Oh, and when that goal was scored I shared a rather special moment with TPH, gaz and a random lass. It was beautiful.

It was beautiful. To be honest, I know what you mean. But i find it harder. For example looking at the Chelsea game, i find it hard to get excited because i know we're out of the cup. And also like the play off finals, i always think we'll where did them times go...? I wish i could get as excited as you looking back at old games, but for me its just the depression of the current day - which keeps me down.

Not everyone was around to watch these matches you speak of so unfortunatly we have to talk about great games that we have been able to witness. Considering we were playing Chelsea, a team who are consistently in the Champions League and high in the Premiership, away from home and were 3-2 up we're obviously going to go on about it. Did you go to this game? Do you go to any games? We didn't have a manager that night, our squad was down to the bare bones and Chelsea had to bring on their best players just to beat us. Kenton, Newton and Maybury were all playing against the likes of Lampard, Shevchenko and Essien. Yes we didn't win but we gave it a bloody good go. We were immense that night. Lets face it, we haven't had a great deal else to shout about

And the Forest game too. Also, why Wimbledon?
Asha Posted 1 December 2007 Posted 1 December 2007 And the Forest game too. Also, why Wimbledon? 1997 League Cup Semi Final - Grayson's goal got us to the final. If you mean why not MK Dons, well becaues they were only MK Dons until few years back. They were ledge as Wimbledon. Saying 'oh we beat Milton Keynes Dons' doesnt have the same effect.
Lillehamring Posted 1 December 2007 Posted 1 December 2007 fu(kin ref tho... couldn't wait to spoil the fun could he...
Staf Posted 1 December 2007 Posted 1 December 2007 We were so unlucky not to beat them anyway we might get them in the fa cup and get revenge
Ashley Posted 1 December 2007 Posted 1 December 2007 This is my Bebo video, its amazing! Its also my bebo video. My England flag is on that video aswell far one on the left.
Tommy G Posted 1 December 2007 Posted 1 December 2007 Great Speech That last line...classic. Cort was a bit shit today though eh? he is Wa nk, enough said. get him out in Jan

Lets face it, we haven't had a great deal else to shout about Thats got to be the most laughable question ever? He has just told you of all the great games he remembers, and you ask if he went Chelsea. As if to say: "Yeah you might have gone Atletico Madrid at home, but did you go Chelsea?" Id pick any of those games over Chelsea.
Tommy G Posted 1 December 2007 Posted 1 December 2007 There are a lot more classic games over Chelsea I'd say as the ones mentioned above. I thought you might have posted Claridge's winner at Wembley or part of the athletico games when you started this thread? Instead we get the dopey useless twat that is Carl Cort on our screens
MPH Posted 1 December 2007 Posted 1 December 2007 you can find the link to the rest of the goals from that game on the youtube side menu. Got to admit, even now when i watch the highlights to that game i cant bare to watch the last 2 chelsea goals.
WetFlannel Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 i thought i would revive this as im sensing some negative vibes
