Kilworthfox Posted 3 January 2008 Author Posted 3 January 2008 You need to start a campaign Thomas!!!! Lets get City right 1st
CupidStunt Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 I have this thing about tigers fans They are mostly of a different breed I once remember going a few years ago,on a freebie with free bar etc in one of there corparet boxes or whatever it was I remember being there with my mate, and we were dressed in what i would describe as "casual" in the bar area having a beer at half time, I could hear people in the background talking, saying they should never let riff raff in here,i guess he was refering to us,i dunno Now me mate is fooking loaded,i mean proper loaded....probably got more money than most of them in there put together And this **** in his chequered flat cap stood there spouting his gob off, just because we were dressed in jeans, having a laugh, and basically not standing there looking like a pair of ponce's like most of the others in there I called him a stook up twat, and pointed out mate could buy his ass for less than he had in his back pocket Suffice to say he didnt reply Tigers fans are mostly jumped up toff wanabees and have no place in football, and thats football with a round ball, not some egg shaped bit of leather that doesnt even bounce correctly You can spot them a mile off, with there cord-roy trousers, weird haircuts, and scarves bought from rackhams I am not a rugby boo boy,i like to see tigers do well but as for the fans.....tut tut,....and they have the cheek to want to use our fooking ground....LMAO
Scaramanga! Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 Their average gate is over 17000 for league games this season, around 99% of capacity. That would be quite a feet considering the capacity of the ground is less than 17000. Tigers fans just like to bitch about City. The 2 times they played at the walkers i went with the old man and they couldn't stop bitching, even during the game, saying things like "This is the most people that have ever been in the crisp bowl", and having the nerve to moan about the facilities, when 2 of the tigers stands are made of wood and only have 1 toilet. Ultimately tigers fans just like to moan. It's not City's fault that your kids wanna play football and support City.
Durnerz Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 When I used to go to Tigers, having enjoyed playing Rugby and also watching it, I also found their fans to be a load of stuck up toff's, farmers and the like but what really grinds my gears is we always have to move our kick off times for THEM and they never budge on anything, nothing to do with Leicester Tigers Rugby team as I am proud of what they have done for this cities pride and recognition, its the club officials and fans that I think are wankers.
The Reverend Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 I dont really have anything against Tigers fans. But, nuuuumerous times i have been walking to the train after a Leicester game and one has asked what the City score was 'erm, wel lost 2-1 mate' to which the reply has been 'oh dear laugh/snigger/tut', as if they are laughing at our club. I HATE that. And another thing i HATE. Tigers fans who like football. I know several Tigers fans who support a football team - most of them being a club out of the top four. W@nkers. And Kilworth, totally agree with you about the parking. If you have a Tigers sticker in your window you seem to be exempt from any kind of parking offences. Good luck to em tho. Im from Leicester and am behind any Leicester team. Dont look for their results or anything tho really.

Plus your average Tigers fan is decked out in a flat cap, John Deere Bodywarmer and half the cows shit field on his wellington boots.
The Reverend Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 Plus your average Tigers fan is decked out in a flat cap, John Deere Bodywarmer and half the cows shit field on his wellington boots. Well i dont really know, i choose not to associate with the like if im honest.

I'm not really a tigers fan - so don't key my car, right.
Raj Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 Some days i hate City fans as well as Tigers fans. Some days i hate everyone. Even me.

Guest Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 There are a section of Tiggers who piss me off, just as there is a section of our own supporters who annoy me. There are great guys and gals who support both. Swings and roundabouts, and all that jive.

MPH Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 quite enjoy going to watch the tigers when i get the chance ( some family members are season ticket holders and occasionally cant make it...) I guess it all depends which part of my equilibrium needs to be reinstated..... would much prefer to go to city games of course, but in my Job... *gets out violin* the money... its terrible.. I guess im just a sports slut. I'll take what i can get.
PAULCFC Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 My side of the family are all city supporters and the wifes side are all tigers fans.It has it's advantages though i've been to Dublin,Limerick,Paris etc for weekends.......Couldn't care less about the rugby, but had some good nights in pubs after. We're both season ticket holders me in the kop and her in the standing bit at tigers.Suppose it's what you're brought up to watch really.
Nationwider Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 I do not understand the rules of rugby. That is all.
Scow Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 Lots of stereotyping going on here. It's just like saying L1 is full of chavs when it's not.

Sounds as though youve had some good weekends away watching the Tigers,Did you do the same when City played Sc*nthorpe,Hull and Barnsley
Mickey O'Neil Posted 4 January 2008 Posted 4 January 2008 I used to look out for the tigers. When we were in relegation trouble a couple of years ago, a tigers 'fan' at work said to me "I hope you get releated so you go bust and we can have your ground". COONT. Pissed me off big time. So did all that ground share bollocks, green seats, change the fookin carpets shite. Feck off. I look out for London Irish now, and at least I can't be accused of being a glory hunter!! And another thing, I know there are a lot of 'normal' people on my level who support tigers, but there are also a lot of pompous dick heads who go Welford Road. At least we only have plain old dickheads at the Walkers. Up the City, feck off tigers.

Boycie Posted 4 January 2008 Posted 4 January 2008 I look out for the Tigers and sometimes go to there games, in ways i could be classed as a glory fan in rugby because i usually go to the finals at Twickenham and Cardiff so...
Unit Posted 4 January 2008 Posted 4 January 2008 I've come to a conclusion. In every group of 10,000+ people, there will be a LOT of ****s. At tigers you get your flat cap 4x4 driving twats, at city you get the 15 year old bad boy brap-stars. That's life. CIAO
