mattleic Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 It hurts to say this cus i really like Ollie and i really hated Megson but i think Megson could at least see with this crap bunch of twats we have we can't play attacking football as we can not score enough goals if we lose 1 or 2! Unfortunetly the only way seems to play boring football and hope we can keep a clean sheet (even harder now without Fulop and not playing the boring 5-3-2 system) and nick a goal as I think Megson saw straight away. Its now half time, Ollie has changed system 4 times in first 30 minutes, we are 2-0 down against a very average team and he takes Fryatt off to put a defender in midfield!!
Alexikokopops Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 Ironically neither do you, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! There's a Leicester City section for a reason.

Tevez Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 All i can say is Paul Henderson is getting us relegated.
AyewJoking Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 Holloway cant help it if he's crap. Of course he's going to come have a go at a sleeping giant of a club with premiership facilities, ambitions and a budget to match. I blame Mandaric who clearly isnt all there.

He got Plymouth (Plymouth for ****s sake!) to 7th on a shoestring budget. I think he could do the job here, but it is such a big job with so many average players that it will take time. This whole board is full of armchair Mourhino's that really know f*** all about managing a team. At least I admit that much.
Raj Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 For all my ranting and raving at the moment i do in my heart believe Ollie can eventually sort this shower of shite out. Its not his players. Let him have his chance. He KNOWS he inherited a shower of shite so let him do his job and prove what he did at Plymouth was no fluke. BASTARDS!!!!
filbertstreetboy Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 so you think ollie has the same pashion as he had when he was at plymouth? he is only here for the money
potter3 Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 so you think ollie has the same pashion as he had when he was at plymouth? he is only here for the money I'd be able to tell you if I knew what pashion is
filbertway Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 I'd be able to tell you if I knew what pashion is Potter I really would make a back up plan, because uni won't happen if you can't work that out

Monk Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 My opinion is that some people are going completely over the top. I think you were being niaive if you think we were going to get anything out of the game today. The midfielders we had available meant the team selection was a joke regardless of what Ollie chose. What is incredibly important is that we get a couple more midfielders in this week, the earlier the better, and on saturday get some balls into the box! Whoever is suggesting that the players are not motivated is talking bollocks, I have seen a drastic improvement in a number of the squad since he arrived. MEGSON was here for the money and to get himself back in the scene. For Holloway this is a genuine step up in his career as we are a bigger and richer club than Plymouth. As much as we all know Hendo is shit you can't blame him in person, its a problem for the club to deal with, we all know he's not good enough and needs to be number 2. We need to sign a pair of safe hands and probably this week if we are going to get a result at the weekend. Also could the new posters learn how to spell please!

'Plymouth for ****s sake' that attitude is why we finish above teams like you and why you are where you are, let me say this slowly YOU ARE NOT A PREMIERSHIP TEAM ANY MORE, YOU ARE NOT WHAT PEOPLE CONSIDER A BIG TEAM ANY MORE, YOU DO NOT HAVE A GOD GIVEN RIGHT TO BEAT SMALLER TEAMS THAN YOU, there you go. Plymouth, yes we are a small team but we dont go out expecting to win or lose we just expect to try our best, maybe your players and managers need to try that.

Yes I probably agree with you !! We just want the Martin O'Neill era back and wished that before he left, a big backer had come in to take us onto a bigger level.

We will never have the MON days again, but we can at least be pushing for promotion rather than watching this rubbish every week...

We are a bigger club than you...we've won more trophies than you, we've got a bigger stadium/more supporters, richer chairman, never been below the top two divisions, played in europe etc etc etc. That's why Ian Holloway wanted to join Leicester and leave your shitty club. The problems at the moment are more complicated than your ramblings about 'the players/manager think we have a god given right to beat smaller teams'.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 Already there my andsome, tiny little club in 7th in league and next round of the cup.Seriously though I dont beleive that sacking Olllie will end the problems, even if you were to get relegated(I dont think you will)you need to gain some stability. Yes I agree, we won't go down, but just have to ride the tide and get out of this mess. Unless you're a top 4 club, every club experiences turmoil periods like this. Even you as an Argyle fan must have done; if you followed them getting relegated from this League in 1992 to the bottom one in about 2-3 years
