Did not realise he was in the Ali G show as I always regarded Ali G as just a rapper of which I'm not a lover. Anyway had a quick look at the book which seems very funny. I've also Googled for information and found a clip on Youtube. It is a fairly long piece about 25mins.. It appears I am way behind the times. Must be my age. The Best of Borat. 'My wife is dead. She die in feild. But its OK, I have a new one.'

I should follow my belief that you should not judge someone solely on one charatistic of their personality. there is good and bad in everyone.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 TBH Ali G and Borat were only ever funny when they were duping people and the laughs were in peoples reactions to them (you really should give Ali G a chance, cos he doesn't actually rap very much) As such tho, I don't think the films are that funny, cos they are obviously set up. Cohen says that Borat the Movie wasn't but it obviously was because there are continuity errors (ie, they had to go back and retake scenes... can't do that unless the patsy is in on the joke!)

Anyway I am not going to plough through hundreds of past threads to find a similar one. I just posted on a topic which I thought may be of interest to some and I get blasted for it. I don't really care TBH. Carry on with your favoourite biscuit or best time for a shit threads or the best game console if it gives you pleasure. I will continue to post or reply on topics that I find interesting.

That is true and editing can improve the it even more. I never really took to Ali G but TBH I never saw much of him Borat however seemed to hit my funny nerve. It may pass. I've seen the film in a shop but I may try downloading it. I've been given a couple of programs on the net whrere I am able to. Minova and Spynova Sorry if I bored anybody with my pointless thread. next time I'll try and spice it up a bit with a few references to bras or breasts or even biscuit dunking.
