Benjani Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 Although I havn't been to the last 2 games. Huddersfield being my last game, Everytime I think of Kisnorbo and him playing it just brings back all the sad memories of the last few years. I don't feel the same with Fryatt, but with Kisnorbo I have just lost faith in him because of all the failure with him in the side. And with him being out of contract in the summer, I would rather sell him in January and make it a complete new start without him. As soon as he came on against Oldham he gave away a freekick. And tbh ever since he has come back we havn't won a game. Kisnorbo out

I'm not sure why you don't feel the same for Fryatt, he was much more at fault than Kisnorbo.

Kisnorbo out Kisnorbo was one of the reasons we were close to staying up, and how you can associate our failings with him and not Fryatt is beyond me. Also, Kisnorbo coming back bears no relation to us not winning the last two games.
Jimmy Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 Kisnorbo actually looked like a footballer last night, he FINALLY just kept things simple with short crisp passes to Hobbs, Oakley & King, if he continues doing that I'll have no complaints with him playing

I don't understand this post. Kisnorbo did his utmost to help us last season, being part of a very tight defence. Fryatt, however, was part of a very generous (to the opposition) attack. If Kisnorbo can play a short-passing game, like Tunchev, added to his goals, he will be very useful.

I'm happy to give him a few games this season though, they all deserve another chance.
C-man Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 I'm amazed at your opinion Benjani. How can you associate our best defender for the last two years, and the main part of the 2nd tightest defence in the Championship last season with failure and not place any blame at the feet of a player who was part of the 2nd worst attack?
Bert Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 It doesn't matter that he's brilliant at his primary job which is defending, you know winning the ball, but he can't pass, therefore he's shit.
lcfc81 Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 To be devils advocate He is out of contract in the summer and if he plays well he is far more likely to leave This combined with a defence which was performing quite well until Huddersfield I'd leave him in the stands until he signs a new deal or loan him out to Cheltenham (10 mins with Martin Allen and he'll sign a new deal hear )
Hackneyisblue Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 It doesn't matter that he's brilliant at his primary job which is defending, you know winning the ball, but he can't pass, therefore he's shit. What's the point of being a good defender if your passing means that you are then defending again? Defenders win the ball and pass it to a team-player, that is their primary role. Otherwise it is like having a goalie who saves penalties and then throws the ball directly to an opposing striker.
DBEightyFive Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 I thought his ball distribution was much better last night. Every pump forward was straight onto Howard's head, his passing across the back four was good aswell I thought. Maybe it was just me.
Koke Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 Against Walsall it was Kisnorbo's 128th appearance for the club and he will go beyond 150 games before the seasons ends, which is quite a remarkable achievement. He is our longest serving player at the club.

Also, Kisnorbo coming back bears no relation to us not winning the last two games. And also one of the reasons to our downfall with hoof ball everytime but I liked what I saw yesterday and if he can play it simple everytime like yesterday we're onto a winner, but I do get what Benjani is on about
Jimmy Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 maybe being alongside someone better then him like Tunchev, means he feels under less pressure and so is just generally more calm. I only say this because I saw him twice in 4 days and he was a different player in both games and the main difference was his defensive partner

JakeShingler Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 Off the TV. I meant what website and is there anymore?
davieG Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 I meant what website and is there anymore? As I say I got it off the TV onto my pc and minimised it and posted it on my photobucket site - so you could say I made it myself.
davieG Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 As I say I got it off the TV onto my pc and minimised it and posted it on my photobucket site - so you could say I made it myself. Here's a Fryatt one
