LCFC_15 Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 Hi people, I know this is early but I want to hear your predicted Leicester XI after January. Who do you think Leicester City will sign and who will depart? This would be my Leicester squad after January: GK: Chris Weale RB: Kyle Naughton (I reckon Leicester City will extend his contract till the end of next June) John Pantsil (from Fulham. He was regular for Ghana in the world cup. Leicester were linked with him in August so if Kyle Naughton can't extend his contract Leicester will move in for Pantsil) CB: Jack Hobbs CB: Curtis Davies (I am unsure he will stay until end of next year but if he is that's great) (Backup CB): Wes Brown (from Manchester United. I reckon he might leave in January and if Leicester can capture him that would be great as he will add so much experience in the defence) LB: Bruno Berner MC: Mark Davies (from Bolton who used to play for Leicester in the 2008-2009 season. Good player as he has shown it in the past. If we can sign it would be great but I believe Bolton would send him out on loan) OR Michael Johnson (from Man City. He won't get into the first team of Man City so if Leicester City can sign him that would be excellent as he's a solid midfielder) Or Adam Lallana (From Southampton. He's an proven goal-scorer and would be an ideal signing for the Championship) MC: Andy King (Backup MC): Richie Wellen & Yuki Abe ML: Lloyd Dyer (Backup ML): Darius Vassell MR: Giovani Dos Santos (Plays for Tottenham. It would only be a loan move if we get him. I think he was one of the brighest players in the World Cup. He's only 21 with great burst of pace and skill and has worked under Sven-Goran Erkisson with Mexico) (Backup MR): Martyn Waghorn & Paul Gallagher FC: Sylvan Ebanks - Blake (From Wolves. He would be a great signing as he a natural finisher in the Champinoship as he was top goal scorer for two years running from 2007-2009 combining 48 goals) (Backup FC): Steve Howard & Matty Fryatt FC: Denni Avdic (Plays for Elfsborg. Sven-Goran Erkisson mentioned him saying he's going to make a bid for him in January. I think it would be a valuable signing, he's a tall powerful striker that can header, finish and would be a problem for defenders in the Championship. He's only 22 and has already made his international debut with Sweden so he's got great potential) This is my predicted team after January. By looking at that team I believe this team is likely to get in the Play-Offs or get promoted this year. It will only depend where Leicester are at the end of December. If Sven buys the players I have listed I reckon Leicester could be in the Premiership this time next year. Players leaving in January: Michael Lamey Miguel Vitor (He will go back to Benfica) Frank Moussa ( Might go out on loan to a League One team) Dany N'Guessan Moreno Let me hear your views & opinions of your predicted Leicester City XI After January.
Fosse Boy Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 1. Ian Ormondroyd 2. Simon Grayson 3. Mike Whitlow 4. Jimmy Willis 5. Gary Coatsworth 6. Brian Carey 7. Colin Gibson 8. Mark Blake 9. Steve Walsh 10. Iwan Roberts 11. Gavin Ward 12. Julian Joachim We have the cash. This can become a reality. And if we could see our way to signing each player on their relevant Day of Christmas, that'd be just grand.
Legend_in_blue Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 Players leaving in January: Michael Lamey Miguel Vitor (He will go back to Benfica) Frank Moussa ( Might go out on loan to a League One team) Dany N'Guessan Moreno Let me hear your views & opinions of your predicted Leicester City XI After January. Without going into detail I will continue your list... Players leaving in January: Logan Morrison Kennedy Neilson Oakley As I said in another thread, patience is not top of Sven's list. He will want things to move and to move quickly. Mediocre won't cut it.
lcfc22 Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 Players leaving in January: Michael Lamey Miguel Vitor (He will go back to Benfica) Frank Moussa ( Might go out on loan to a League One team) Dany N'Guessan Moreno why would vitor go back to benfica when he's on a season loan and won't even get a sniff in there where as here he could easily step in or just cover for suspended players or injuries to gain experience and i doubt moussa will go on loan he's been one of our better players recently.
Wymsey Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 Its too early to predict this. But hopefully Oakley, Fryatt, Neilson and Lamey will go.
JoeS Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 You mean Man City (Sven's MkII) XV Ooops I mean XI
Donut Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 1st team Weale Naughton (kadar) Davies (Bruma, Steven Taylor) Hobbs Cunningham (Samuel) (Eagles, Dos Santos, Stoch, O'hara) Wellens King Dyer Howard (Anichebe, Keane, Santa Cruz, Tuncay)
CKB Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 Ok thought long and hard over this one and this would be my line up GK: Ian Ormondroyd RB: Ian Ormondroyd CB: Ian Ormondroyd CB: Ian Ormondroyd LB: Ian Ormondroyd RW: Ian Ormondroyd CM: Ian Ormondroyd CM: Ian Ormondroyd LW: Ian Ormondroyd CF: Ian Ormondroyd CF: Ian Ormondroyd I think that would be a very balanced side and would no doubt shoot us up the league in no time
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 Think Sven rates Moussa personally, don't think he'll farm him out. Obvious Vitor has the potential too, wouldn't mind seeing him here for a while longer, as cover anyway. Moreno, Lamey, Chambers, Logan, Kennedy (unfortunately), N'Guessan, Crncic, Gallagher, Verma, O'Neill, C.King will all be looking for new clubs soon, if not in January then in the summer. Some because they've not been given the chance and need to move on to better their careers (Kennedy, Chambers, King, O'Neill), and some just because they're useless (Moreno, Lamey, Logan, Gallagher).
Wig_Wam_Bam Posted 29 October 2010 Posted 29 October 2010 Don't understand why everyone slates Gallagher he's our only player with a bit of skill / class he's the only one who seems to be able to produce that bit of magic. I thought he was our best player against west brom reserves on Tuesday night!

tomtom Posted 29 October 2010 Posted 29 October 2010 Hi people, I know its early but why not predict the most pointless threads posted on here post Jan 2011
Trav Le Bleu Posted 29 October 2010 Posted 29 October 2010 I already did this elsewhere. And no, I wasn't serious (about my eleven, not the fact that I posted it elsewhere... I think )
Lillehamring Posted 29 October 2010 Posted 29 October 2010 as if the thread wasn't needlessly repetitive and hopelessly speculative enough, it drops even further by sinking to the tired old 'mark davies is our saviour' route. fuck's sake, he had about 3 decent games for us and has hardly set the world alight since. he's just another zsolt lasko, but not foreign so therefore he is the great white hope. do you really think sven will be spending his money on a player who has played 60 games in 5 years, i don't. give it a rest.

Wig_Wam_Bam Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 That's right he's gash scored a goal yesterday!

LCFC_15 Posted 1 November 2010 Author Posted 1 November 2010 I hope Sven can attract Giovani Dos Santos to come to Leicester. He's as just as good as Lionel Messi & Cristiano Ronaldo on a good day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPGZ3WijRG0
Jackirius Posted 1 November 2010 Posted 1 November 2010 I think its more of a problem persuading Spurs to let him go.
