-MaTaN- Posted 21 June 2011 Posted 21 June 2011 The South-African defender of Maccabi Haifa FC, according to our biggst sport site he is about to close his terms with Leicester. more news soon, u can trust me about that and i'll keep write here and let u know whats going on. the article in hebrew: http://www.sport5.co.il/HTML/articles/Article.64.101973.html As a Maccabi AND Leicester fan, i'll be so glad if it will work out. he is one of our best players, he is about to leave 'cuse we want our really talented home-grown player Twatha who plays on his role (left defender/left wing) to play first team football.

MikeyT Posted 21 June 2011 Posted 21 June 2011 The obligatory Wiki page. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsepo_Masilela
Libertine Posted 21 June 2011 Posted 21 June 2011 Great pace and defending ability, according to Wiki. Hopefully an improvement on PVA then.
-MaTaN- Posted 21 June 2011 Author Posted 21 June 2011 From what they are saying right now in the local radio it says that he is 90% on his way to the Foxes. he said that he is leaving for sure althrough he startes to train with us today, but everyone knows that he is about to leave. I think that this guy is in premier league level, i'll be more than happey to see him in the blue shirt. he have a CL and WC experience with Maccabi and SA.
21st Century Fox Posted 21 June 2011 Posted 21 June 2011 Sounds decent according to Wikipedia, looks like a beast. If this comes off we're shaping up to have a defence that'll scare the sh*t out of alot of teams. Thanks for the updates -MaTaN-.
AdamN Posted 21 June 2011 Posted 21 June 2011 He looks pretty solid but no thanks Yeah, I'd rather have players who look shit.
Guest Bilo Posted 21 June 2011 Posted 21 June 2011 Sounds a decent player, I can't pretend I follow Israeli football all that closely but international and European experience is a plus as I can't imagine the Israeli leagues necessarily being the strongest with all due respect. If we do get him in though, I'd like to see us looking at other LBs in case he doesn't work out.
BourneFox90 Posted 21 June 2011 Posted 21 June 2011 is it common knowledge that hes leaving Maccabi or are we paying a fee?
21st Century Fox Posted 21 June 2011 Posted 21 June 2011 Can do better simple as that. based on??? your extensive knowledge of.....???
-MaTaN- Posted 21 June 2011 Author Posted 21 June 2011 kingfox, i think that when youll see him in the first time youll change your mind. this guy is just... i'm shocked he is not playing in a big team in Spain or England yet.... And he is under contract right now, i guese the move will be in about 1-1.5 million euros.
kingfox Posted 21 June 2011 Posted 21 June 2011 I like my English league players, foreign signings are risky. I have always thought that, but people tell me don't judge a player before you haven't seen them, signings have paid off before but some haven't. Everyone thought Kermit the frog was a good signing with great heading ability and wonderful goals...then look what happened. Would prefer someone like Ryan Bertrand, quality youngster and proven at Championship level, some won't agree but that has always been my opinion.

How can you say he's shit when the only knowledge of Masilela is saying 'I like English players'? You've never seen him play before, jog on.
Libertine Posted 21 June 2011 Posted 21 June 2011 Any signing at our level is a risk. You're writing him off without seeing him.

Love this time of year - How on earth do they come up with these percentages? There is a 5% chance he will miss his flight, 1% chance he will hate Sven etc
