-MaTaN- Posted 22 June 2011 Author Posted 22 June 2011 Hey guys. update from last hours: City wants Masilela on loan only 'cuse Maccabi Haifa wants a lot of money (about 2 or 3 million euros), and Belgium side Anderlect is also on the run on him and gave an 1.5 million euros offer who didn't came well. the last updates says that Masilela may sign a new contract with Maccabi Haifa and then go out on loan to City, try to impress in the chempionshp and then maybe City or a club in the premierleague will be impress and buy him for the pric Maccabi wants. (and i think he worth something like 2.5-3 million euros, we just relased our best player today to Club Bruges for 2.8 million, Masilela is not far from his abbilty and at the moment i'll consider him one of our best players.)

Sounds like we may have a Naughton situation. Would love us to sign this guy and loan opens up possibility of us losing him next year. If it has to be a loan let's hope there's an option to buy at the end.

Petchy Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 I don't know how to add him to my team on FIFA, because he only plays for South Africa on the game haha! Replace him in the national squad with someone else who isn't currently in the SA team, and Masilela will then appear in the Free Agents team.

I would have thought there'll be hefty loan fee involved, with the premise of try before you buy. As stated at the beginning of the thread, apparently they have player coming through into the first team, so maybe they can afford to lose his wages, get a nice big fee, and still have a replacement within their team. Could be good, though someone did point out that on the wiki side of things he signed a 4 year contract back in 2007...one...two....three...does that mean he's a free? Or has he signed another contract with them? So how can we loan him?
