I think to be given the fair crack of the whip Cooper will get the next 4 games, that will take us to 10 matches. We have the ability to win all 4 to be honest but he needs to pick up at least 6 points to demonstrate he is the man beyond these games in my opinion.

If we get a win I think it will lift the shackles and everyone will relax.

People comparing this to Rodgers start of 22-23 need to have a long think. I don't think this is anywhere near as bad. The board have not got to act at all for a while. Rodgers was on a slide for a long long time.

Need to try and find a way to hold the ball up the pitch for as long as possible so the ball isn't just coming back after clearing it away each time. For that reason I think Ayew will start again because he can do that a bit.

Don't read too much in to stats. The one that matters says we are 15th currently. Everyone apparently in the summer would have snapped your hand off if we finished there. Expectations have shifted now amongst the fan base and we aren't happy until we are pushing up the table again with bang average players at this level.

Think u are looking a little too much in to it based on some click bait article. I think they are pining still for Enzo to be honest and his playing style. Unfortunately we aren't playing Championship dross every week.

I think people need to consider what their aspirations are for this season and what they genuinely think this squad of players can achieve. Whoever the gaffer is I think our ceiling is probably around 13th -14th with this set. We didn't even get many new players in until late in the window. We are currently 15th with a -2 goal difference. Yes no win yet (Palace should have been) but we have competed in each match. (See Rodgers first 7 game re-run in 22-23 where we do a "Cooper" at home v Brentford and Southampton and are blasted away in the others for perspective.) Southampton have been attrotious on their return so far and Ipswich yet to win either out of the promoted clubs. It is bloody hard to get back in to the top flight, even if just a year away. I think we were spoilt by Maresca hitting the ground running with a superb squad at Championship level. Cut the guy some slack and judge properly after at least 12 or 13 games before putting the poll up.

Be careful what you wish for. Until we reach the shocking performance levels of 22-23 in those first 7 games and then after the WC break I withhold judgement.

If you didn't know our results you would think we are getting thrashed every week by reading reactions on here. Next week is the big test. Home game against a poor team. Winning that is important. If we do then today is a sound point on the road.

I still find it weird how a lot of people are on Cooper's back having played 2 teams competing for Champions League places and very steady Fulham side away. Please give him some time and show a bit of patience. We are 3 games in.

We need to keep ticking along at a point per game for me as we progress. So really expect us to take 6 from next 4. (The home matches most likely.)

Would improve us but might spell the end of Conor Coady. Would make the Vestergaard 3 year deal more daft also. Probably just paper talk.
