Let's be frank the players on the whole are barely good enough regardless who the manager is. There is more hunger and fight in the squad than 2 years ago at least. A point a game looks like it will be enough for safety and I think Cooper can steer us there. He hasn't lost to any of the teams down the bottom yet which is important. We really need to beat Wolves and West Ham at home in December now though.

Sounded on Radio like it was coming. Ball just coming back at us.

Need to focus on the positives here. We are capable at times and we are playing a side nervous to get a first win. They will attack for sure and we need to exploit the space they may leave on the break winning it high up the pitch. Don't want to see our full backs galavanting at all and none of this inverted crap either. Just do your job and help the two CB out. Would play Ayew central behind Vardy to hold the ball up and win the ball back high with Facundo and Mavididi to the side of him. Okoli and Justin need a rest so Vesty and VK to return if fit. We need to realise that a win gets us amongst the pack heading for midtable and 12 points from 10 games is decent ratio if we can carry that on in the next 10 games. Mads Ricardo Faes Vesty VK Ndidi Winks Facundo Ayew Mavididi Vardy

Best scenario this weekend is that the 3 in the drop zone all lose and we leave them stranded. We are going to have to put a shift in to keep our side of the bargain. I hope not to see the ever obliging thread orange again!

I think he had a good game tonight. Looked effective driving forward with the ball. Unlucky not to score.

Self inflicted again with our own downfall at times.

Think there are people a lot higher up the queue to slag off tonight other than Ward.

Ward Ricardo Coady Okoli Thomas Skipp Soumare Bilal Ayew McAteer Edouard Painful but need to keep best players ready for massive game v Ipswich.

Possibly. Depends if we can free up some by moving a few out.

Surely Chilwell on loan in Jan from our parent club er Chelsea?

Ange is an Aussie rules coach who went to the wrong job interview and decided he would have a go at soccer.

We have 9 points. Southampton, Wolves and Ipswich have 7 combined. Think it would be harsh to sack the manager after 9 games when we have A) never been in the relegation zone B) our remit preseason was to stay up. Think he needs to do himself a favour and get a 90 minute performance. We looked good up to HT Friday night but I think the players let him down slightly 2nd half. Next 5 games important. Need to get tighter defensively. Not losing to Ipswich is very important first of all.

I don't think any manager can legislate for such poor defending and mistakes. Faes needs shooting after today. We were in the ascendancy going in to the break. Just to concede so early 2nd half knocked the stuffing out of them.

Not a bad result if Foredt win. Keep them 4 scratching around at the bottom.

Pathetic first half but surely some praise for Cooper for 2nd half. Now to beat the Florests next.

0-2 us and Russell Martin first manager sacked of the season.

4th choice I think.

What are people going to do if we are comfortable mid table after this run of fixtures? Still demand Coreban or Potter. I hope Cooper proves some people wrong. If he messes up I will rightly criticise but still backing the guy at the minute.

Brad had been in the job for years. Time to move on.

Not a guaranteed starter but worthy of a place on the bench.

Very much our best player so far..

We have these breaks every month in autumn and then wonder why domestic games are rammed in from Christmas onwards.

Assuming no injuries and problems in the break I would go with below. Press them high as many have said. Assuming our Argentinan friend Facundo is out jet lagged. Mads JJ Faes Okoli VK Skipp Winks Fatawu Ndidi Mavididi Vardy

Every time. Can't stand it.

Well Villa need to be beating 14th at home. With the players available in their squad. Just no plan or direction. Emery out!
