I was saying to my Dad, wonder what the reaction would be if he made changes after 25 minutes pulling ayew for mav, facundo or kacey because it was clear from then, it wasn't working -
I think what the @AKCJ is getting at is we had extreme limitations coming to the summer window, with the lowest kitty and a points deduction hanging over us, now we're here in January window, players will be reluctant to come an agents will be trying to have us over a barrel, nonetheless we are here due to shortcomings some years ago

There was a cup game against Leeds i remember at filbo st, think they put 6 past us, as they scored 5 all our fans started singing we want 6 or something like that, think we did the Mexican wave aswell, those were the days

The 2nd half when we played a relegation set Bournemouth, we needed the win to cement 4th place, we bossed them first half, lots of chances, lots of smiles on.players faces, but felt sorry for them second half and stopped playing.

I think our problem was we needed a larger investment in the squad over the season, but our 3 year PSR figures have restrictedus from doing that. The Leeds game last season showed we were mentally and physically weak, we knew Enzo ball would need better players or we'd have to change the system, unfortunately our limitations meant we've done neither. Enzo ball relied on pacy tricky wingers, and relies on playing out from the back after bringing the team on to you, but we hoof it out from the back, and if we gain possession, we try playing Enzo ball but with slow wingers, we play a high line but with slow defenders and a centre forward that's too old to press. Think he's got to go with 3-5-2. I'd be tempted to play facundo and vardy up front -
His wages were too high though if it's right he's being paid £90k a week
-
He receives and passes, moves, then receives and passes, and he's good at that, and knowing what's around him, but I think you need more than that in the PL as a midfielder. You need strength, to be able to tackle and win your duels, to dribble with the ball, to score some goals. You don't need all those qualities, but at least 1 or 2 of those on top of what he already does

A championship player, on top half Premier league wages, it's our issue that is hindering us
-
And think watching wolves, Ipswich not beating Southampton, our performance today, you can see all three promoted sides are short of the mark
-
Ndidi will probably be fit to.play
-
We needed a couple of scrappers in the side this summer, and we didn't see it. We lost the game on being weak and passive, just got to hope ndidi is the tonic we need to change our fortunes, he alwayd takes a while to get back after injury though, by then will probably be too late

Not sure who was listening to his post match interview but didn't sound.like.a man who's throwing in the towel
-
The positives to appointing ruud was that he was likely gonna be widely respected due to his past achievements as a player and the contacts he may have had in the game, so yeah appointing him was another blunder
-
It was a glamour appointment, Top and Rudkins hubris had them thinking they were appointing another star manager in the making after Utd smashed us. They're a pair of idiots that think they know the football game
-
Thing is those won the championship, it's rumoured okoli wants gone, and is coady any better? I thought letting Souttar go on loan was the most brain dead decision ever, but there you are
-
I voted keep, but only because i think we've got no cash in this seasons kitty, and no one will want to.come in to this shower.at this point, may as well give him the season, and make an assessment in the summer. Yes we'll likely be championship but I don't think any manager can stop this rot, we need sort out our wage structure, that may mean a couple of seasons of mediocre championship football
