I think I'm getting misunderstood by some, I absolutely criticise the club for Rodgers contract, and some of the contracts dished out to players that were frankly ridiculous. I also criticise the club whole heartedly to where they're taking fan engagement, price of tickets, choices made with stadium expansion etc, it's all been totally mismanaged. I'm only holding fire in terms of why we haven't signed anyone yet.
-
I'm not making excuses, I tried to make a point that we don't know what's happening behind the scenes.we're still suffering the repercussions of not making Europe, players on too high wages and a manager with a hold plated contract. Coming into this season, its likely Ipswich and Southampton had a better financial position than we did.

Summer 23 was a good transfer window, it was good enough to get us up, the club did what they needed to do, and I guess there's always an element of a gamble. Last summer was hampered by our looming points deduction, and if what we've spent in the summer has maxed us out, what would you have the club do? Should we breach or comply?
-
One of the things I'm considering, and the reason I'm not criticising the club as yet is PSR. What if we've breached 23/24, where do we go from there? What if we're close to breaching this season, so need outgoings first? When we got promoted, I had little hope we'd survive, it seems we are battling the snowball effect from our original.problems. When I think about summer 22, I got mad we weren't signing anyone, I had no idea we'd breach psr and the repercussions, but we ended up breaching with Souttar and VK anyway, so I get the tough choices now. Wolves and Ipswich have 3/4 tough league games ahead, ours more favourable. We have the cup so a little time, let's see what comes out with PSR mid jan and see where we're at.

I'd have like a statement from the club disputing the reports if they're confident. Everton and Forest claimed they were confident even when they breached, but they'd done the calculations wrong, Forest with fee for Johnson being included, and Everton to do with the stadium costs. The concern is KDH sale . Tbh, if we've breached, I'm not going to give the club a hard time, we did what we needed to to get promotion, I really don't see it as cheating, we're a victim of our own success and the mismanagement of that success, the transfer window we had last season seemed reasonable, what is scary is what the EFL cam do to usif we go down. Can they force the club to sell players I wonder?

They hadn't wasted nearly half a season eith a crappy manager, I don't think they have a better side than us.

It was always going to be about the 2nd half of the season when RVN took over, after a Jan transfer window. RVN deserves huge criticism for Wolves, but overall what he's doing in training is making us a better side. There was a certain point in the game after we equalised, that we could have possibly pushed on for the win, but Villas goal was a wardesque brain fart from Justin, if not for that we deffo come away with at least a point there. We just need a decent Jan window, keep the faith -

It is entirely possible that our points deduction massively cost us not only with player recruitment, but manager recruitment. I think we employed Cooper, and did our best to support what he wanted in transfers, which is why we are where we are. As for the future, I think PSR is still causing us massive grief. We can't complain at the club not making signings when newspapers are reporting we've broken PSR again, because if we have, we're relegated anyway -

Is it? Over the past couple of games are passing the ball around with more confidence, we are defending better than we have, it's just individual errors that have cost us. We player Man City and Villa in those games. The squad is short but we're miles better than the chaos Cooper left -

We've massively improved and he has less recource than Cooper, the only thing that bothered me today in Ruuds tactics was taking so long to make changes -

Because we were going to push up very high so needed more pace at the back -
I have stopped listening, not because of Chris' stupid opinion on Rudkin, but because of the cringe of his innuendos, I think Kate has moved as well as I see she has been starring on blue tinted podcast.

When Thomas last played he did okay. I think defensively he does okay when playing as an all out FB, but when asked to.support the winger he's not great. I think he's better than some on here give him credit. In our relegation season he had no support from Barnes, Ndidi and tielemens couldnt be arsed and as a result we were often targeted. -

The BBC leicester guy did ask RVN after a one of our games why he left facundo on the bench till the last 10 minutes when we needed goals and RVN skirted it by saying he was 5th sub so didn't want to risk going down to 10 men, I suspect RVN knew exactly what the question was getting at. I'm sure there has to be a reason beyond RVNs control -

That's because he's a striker, not a very good one but that's what he is, out wide he's useless -

I don't understand why you would alter a midfield that played so well the week before, makes no sense -
The buyback clause is a great way to persuade their deadwood to leave. "Go prove yourself as that player, and we'll buy you back".

It always blows my mind with the money that changes hands in these transfers, that due diligence isn't applied

Is Pooper any better?

When I wasn't successful getting a season ticket and saw nearly 40% increase in ticket price for some games where I sat last yr C1, I said enough, so me and dad are 2 that have stopped going
-
The mish mash is due to squad depth, we've been like that before, under Rodgers for 2 seasons we had no right wing, everything wide went through Barnes, now we have similar which is why mavididi might be struggling, but maresca ball came through against man city with facundo and bilal playing as the 8's but lacking in the width on that right side as instead of Winks as the pivot, we have soumare in the mix too. We desperately need a winger and a full back.

Yes, haven't seen the movie, wanted to read the book first, very good book so far

Depends if club knows we've breached PSR, because if we have, we're going down -
I've read a lot of stuff on communism, the archipelago my favourite, for some reason I'm fascinated by historical politics and society, which is so often macabre in nature. Just finished a movie called 'Conspiracy' 2001. The nazi meeting to plan the final solution. I know belongs in the movie section but if you haven't seen I'd highly recommend, just astonishing trying to imagine that meeting.
