LCFC 0-2 Palace,post match thread
splinterdream replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
Who was the right appointment? Because if you believe the rumours, moyes and potter turned us down, and Iām not sure Pep would get much out of this team, most of the squad are prone to making a mistake that costs us the game -

From what I hear, worse. The RB is needed to play on the wing and yo-yo supposed to be rubbish in the final third -

Lennon spot on in his remarks, not enough physicality at the back and too many similar players in midfield -
Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
splinterdream replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Really really tough task but I'm not sure the system were playing is right. Facundo.amd bilal taking up similar spaces, mavididi is nowhere near good enough, he just slows play, we may as well play with wing backs. I know many like facundo, but he isn't adding much in this system, and soumare was hopeless tonight. We are well short and think the club should plan for relegation -
Id get soumare off, bring ayew on to play as a second striker and go direct

It is interesting how our atmosphere has got so bad .I think the quiet fans create pockets where everyone else is embarrassed to sing. Its pretty difficult to be that supporter that starts singing when no one else around you does. I've been going to the football since I was a boy, then teenager and now I'm 50, I remember how noisy we were at filbo despite 10k less crowd

I went QPR with my dad, nephew and brother in law, I'm a casual/part time supporter, not been to a game all season, went every game last season, and the reason I'm a casual part time supporter, is because I wanted season tickets, mainly because I refuse to pay the prices for single tickets under membership. It's the club that's pricing people out, not that the demand isn't there

American Primeval, miniseries Netflix, superb and based on true events

Ah really, well he's a wealthy man and will probably get a move to another club and still earn more money than most of us can dream of, so don't feel too sorry for him
-
Absolutely, think.its Rodgers that ruined him, should have pulled him earlier and moved him on
-
Not who I was thinking of but good one š

We love a cheap player with 4 syllables in his surname, can anyone think of a maverick that we've had in recent years who came and went?

Disgraceful Stickers Noticed at LCFC Away Games
splinterdream replied to EW32's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think this sort of thing happens when people feel they're being ignored. I saw many threads on lots of strange so called football groups of facebook highlighting these stickers as a bad thing, but most replies I saw were in support for what they said. -
Worst Refereeing Decision Made Against Us?
splinterdream replied to Bert's topic in Leicester City Forum
What was worse for me, was all the pundits agreeing with the decision not to award the penalty as De Bruyne has a right to protect his face, I thought I was tripping at the time, could be said this cost us top 4 -

NETFLIX RECOMMENDATIONS: stuff to watch
splinterdream replied to LinekersLugs's topic in General Chat
Highly recommend A Goats Life. A Hindi movie, well made. Made my interested to read the book. -
The club are clearly going to wait for the PL to either charge them or declare we haven't breached, only at that point can they decide the appropriate action to take with transfers, and that's the sensible thing to do you'd think. If we get deducted points, then we are as good as down, but other clubs might also get charged such as Everton, then that may give us a chance. It is a mess but 23/24 seasons business was decent, albeit Coady wasnt necessary, but it got us up, and this season we were favourites to go down with points deduction anyway, it was always likely to happen, if there's any truth about Edouard contract though, the club need to address who is making these ridiculous decisions, we didn't need a third PL striker, even with daka injured, we should never have let Cannon go.
