  1. Joins Ahmed Musa, Tete, Sol Bamba and Chris Wood in the misleading debuts club.
  2. One more loss without scoring and we're getting into 5000/1 territory, in terms of staying up.
  3. It'll be good to get him gone but it will only make a slight improvement financially. We'll probably still be on the hook for about £30000/week of his wages as no one will match them. Also, we'll pay off his loyalty bonus because the cvnt definitely won't put in a transfer request.
  4. Are you talking about three years ago when we pipped you to 8th? Let it go, man!
  5. Lovely rendition of the Chinese National anthem, The March of the 'Volunteers'.
  6. "You all taken your pre-match sedatives? Bang on. Jannik, this is Wout Faes. Wout Faes! Your team mate. You've trained with him all week. He gets very confu- WOUT FAES!"
  7. Taking loans against future income never sat well with me. Even more so now we're borrowing against TV money we most likely won't have.
  8. The turmoil around the world and very real prospect of war has taken the gaze off climate change. The mentality is probably along the lines of, 'we'll be scratching around for decades, rebuilding and barely surviving. Might as well spend an afternoon in Barcelona while we can.'
  9. This massively annoys me. We hamstrung ourselves while Forest stuck two fingers up at PSR and then appealed their way down to a minor points deduction. Hindsight is 20/20 but making a couple of good signings, instead of penny pinching would have steered the ship right enough to avoid relegation. Especially as we sold Fofana and Schmeichel.
  10. Is there firm interest or is he just delusional, waiting for Real Madrid, Barcelona and PSG to form an orderly queue?
  11. Haven't we already spent our parachute payments?
  12. If it wasn't for Palace away, I'd vote VAR our player of the season.
  13. It won't be long until the player's agents are banging onthe door because if a club's turnover increases by £70m, that must mean they have an extra £140m to spend on wages, right?
  14. They both formed around the same time but how and why they formed could not be more different.
  15. A helicopter celebration is a bit weird anyway. Keep it in your pants, Tom!
  16. I don't care about what he did after he left, it was just pantomime stuff. I also didn't really care about what he said about his time here (it would have been a pretty depressing atmosphere to work in). What pissed me off is how he tried to act like the club meant something to him after we won the league. On Five Live, sounding like he was going to cry. It was a transparent attempt to get a bit of relevance on the back of us. Self-serving *****.
  17. Peru - Solano. Newcastle had his best years but what a good player to watch.
  18. As much as he was praised last season, it was always tempered with, '...but we'll need someone better in the Premier League.'
  19. The holograms make it look so retrofuturistic. Like a 70 year old's idea of what the year 2000 would look like. The spires (or whatever they are) look like a middle-eastern dictator's shag pad.
  20. Is this the least amount of effort a Premier League team has had to put in to win a game?
  21. One of my biggest regrets is not buying the exceptional Tony Pulis and Craig Shakespeare half/half scarf, outside the stadium.
  22. He's been subjected to homophobic abuse. I wonder if they remember him from when they absolutely rattled him in that cup game. https://metro.co.uk/2025/03/01/millwall-face-probe-homophobic-chants-aimed-crystal-palace-star-ben-chilwell-22650051/?fbclid=IwY2xjawIwFzRleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHXeppfIcxwNcs5dUbP2smE7Qqf2jQZKYjUeyujSph2kTB56cAlxKN1R79w_aem_urmTT1dB-mmeNKYkvKEJOA
  23. He served a purpose in the Championship but we should have been ruthless and got rid in the summer but it might not have been that easy. I think he may have had the club by the balls, this time last year. When we were stumbling and looking like we might collapse, the club would have done anything to keep the dressing room morale up. It's not hard to imagine Vesty's agent banging the door down for a guarantee of a new long-term contract upon promotion.
  24. Will they be hosting it from Trump's rectum, where they've resided for the past 10 years?
  25. Slight mitigation for the Kante release clause. He didn't really want to come and would have preferred to stay in France (I think Marseille were interested).
