Counterpoint: have sex

I just got back from an NCT course and am a bit annoyed I missed a fun day out in Brighton, so maybe you're right
-
Maybe he's right you know. Yann Kermogant sings on that track. It's a cursed song. Started playing it exactly when things when pear shaped.

The piece of music that is really intrinsic to the club is the post horn gallop. WYS is one of our traditional terrace songs but the Jersey Budd version is crap, let's be honest.

OP is a piss take obviously but it is quite a good satire of a lot of posters on here

No, in London. Loads of Americans these days. Some, I assume, are good people.

Mentioned it before but Skopelos is a lovely Greek island. Feels like halfway between northern Balkan and southern Mediterranean Greece. Very relaxed, some lovely beaches, pretty town and villages, good food etc.

Closer culturally to the Balkans than it is to southern Greece imo. Patrick Leigh Fermour wrote about the difference between the 'Hellenes' in the south and the 'Romios' in the north and got it spot on. Still think it's the most fascinating part of Europe but you have to explore and do your research.

Yes spent a lot of time there. I have fond memories of it but it's not the prettiest city. Interesting though. And gateway to some wonderful parts of Greece, Rodopi to the east and Epirus to the west. I love northern Greece, really interesting culturally and historically and great food. Quite different from other parts of the country.

Did a stag in Ibiza in the early 2000s and it was awful and absolutely brilliant

No not yet. Been on the list for a while though. Recommended? I just read 'Among the Mountains' which is one of those very fun books about some insane Oxbridge-educated Brit crossing Asian mountains ranges with just a bivvy tent, a knife and a handful of Farsi phrases.
-
The Romanian mountains are very beautiful in early May, though at least about a two hour trip from Bucharest. Porto is definitely a more beautiful city overall.

Would love to go to Uzbekistan. Samarkand, Bukhara....would be amazing. Very envious.

When I opened this thread and read the poll question bleary eyed this morning:

Barry actually fathered around 10 children to various women out of wedlock.

You're overthinking it. People aren't applauding winning the league, it's just a pre match ritual that people do without even thinking, not a big deal. Clearly a lot of people on here find our fanbase a bit cringey which I can understand but they overestimate how much our fans' supposed passivity and acceptance has actually contributed to our on pitch decline, and also view other fanbase through rose tinted spectacles.

Rudkin. Ruud is utterly, utterly useless and seems to be almost actively trying to lose games. I could get better results. And ultimately football games are decided by those on the pitch and in the dugout.

You do not, under any circumstances, have to hand it to Everton and their fanbase
