You do not, under any circumstances, have to hand it to Everton and their fanbase

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

An emaciated Bobby Sands is probably less lightweight than most of our players -
but by that time buses will be obsolete and people will have lost the knowledge of how to operate them

How can they have such little self respect? They are shameless
-
I owe you an apology San Marino. I was not familiar with your game
-
This is San Marino esque now

Staggering really. I feel you really have to work hard in order to to go on a run like we have. It won't just happen, law of averages or something states we will fluke a goal or maybe even scrape a point at some time. But no, these guys are really out there busting records. Incredible stuff.

"is there anything to be said for another mass?"

Ruud's just humiliating us because of Vardy breaking his record and that one season we had Martin Keown. There is no other explanation.
-
So shameful really. Everyone involved should be mortified but they're not of course.
-
I am beyond caring to be honest but you are right. It is utterly disgraceful for players and coaches to perform in this way. Like what tiny level of shame do you need not to perform like this. Especially as these guys are doing it in front of the world. I'm embarrassed for them.
-
On some level you have to hand it to Ruud. Making all this money while being this incompetent and indolent is quite some achievement. I can only ever dream.

Tunchev doing quite well at Kardzhali.

I think seeing James Richardson and his coffee and pastry on the piazze every week was the main reason I eventually moved to Italy.

Championship 2024/2025 Season Thread

Didn't think it was that complicated. I thought if the player is offside when the ball is first touched forward by a teammate he's offside, irrespective on whether it's subsequently taken a nick of a defender, which is what happened yesterday. -

Yeah Serie A is good fun. 4 different winners in the last 6 seasons, good atmospheres, entertaining football. Shame it's not on quite as much as it used to be on TNT but still really enjoy my fix on a Sunday evening.

Feels longer when you think about everything that's happened in the world since then

Yesterday was 10 years since the start of the great escape. FB reminded me of the day. I'd decided not to watch the game as I'd basically resigned myself to relegation, and go for a nice lunch and then an exhibition of rugs (no really) with my girlfriend. However, curiosity got the better of me and I still found myself checking the lineup and the first few minutes of the game. I got back home in time for the second half and the rest is history. Who could've imagined the insanity of the next 13 months. It was of course the first game after the reburial of Richard III.
