  1. Can see Alves signing a new deal and then going out on loan. Would like to see Nelson start too. Don't think that'll be the formation though, the inverted rb and 2 8s, marescas gone now. 433 attack and 451 defence. Signing wise I don't have much of an idea ATM but I'd like to see a forward in the Ulloa mould come in, strong and good In the air
  2. 4 4 fkn 2 next year. They both start 🤣
  3. Stamford Bridge meltdown when the news breaks that Janniks turned our contract down and signed for them on one of their 9 year deals.
  4. Going to be a hard to watch season, minimal funds and starting behind.. pretty much resigned to dropping and then starting over next year myself. Sod paying over the odds, I'll do it for a season.. there's going to be a lot of need for ' get into em, fk em up' and 'attack attack attack' anyway. 🤣 Serious note though, I don't want a big name, or someone seemingly on the way up, already attracting higher suitors. We need someone of the Corberan mould, that's decent enough, likely to stay a few years for stability and to get us set again. Next few years there will be an even bigger turn around in playing staff, it would be useful to have the managerial team fixed for a while. There is hardly anyone in that current squad, albeit age, personality or ability that I think will be here in 12 to 24 months time so its an opportunity for a manager to really make it their own squad.
  5. You know what.. that's probably right. I remember the away game he moaned that it was messy.. even though it was as exciting as we'd seen under him
  6. No worries.. it'll be my time when we appoint warnock 🤣
  7. To be fair to him, we had 2 5-0s so it's only one more.
  8. Post match interview after they do us 6-0. ' I told them to be patient, my style worked. Now they learn the hard way'
  9. I'm glad he's gone. Yes its at the worst time with the points deduction and lack of funds, but he was never a long term plan Hopefully we can recruit now to build for the future. We're at one of our least attractive stages but realistically with the likelihood we are dropping we are in a position to offer someone the security of a free season to plan for a promotion drive. Under Maresca, players could only play one way or they were out. Fans were not allowed an opinion on the style of football played, but he was having an opinion on the support He said he was going to be here and wanted his holiday and then deal with football after, yet spent his whole holiday organising a deal elsewhere. No loyalty in football, don't get attached, but now he's Chelseas walking hypocrit.. not ours. Good luck there though, ain't worth spending time wishing malice on him. Your objective was promotion and you did it, so thanks for that part at least
  10. Maybe Enzo could do us a favour and loan us some of their 4000 players to help us out
  11. I seriously hope we get someone in on the basis that the likelihood is we are going to drop and build a squad for the promotion push the year after. Just bank whatever we can this year, stabilise ourselves and come back fighting and fk the premier league right off in a few years when we break back in to the top ten again
  12. I was curious to see how well Enzo ball would fair in the Premier league, particularly as I thought it may work better than in the EFL purely because teams won't sit back against us. That being said, with the quality of player and funds at our disposal I wasn't too positive about it, and he is arrogant as hell. To basically tell fans you can't have an opinion about his style of play, and then to walk out straight after promotion is a bit crap to be honest so I'm glad he's off. I'll wish him well though, not worth wasting time thinking about. Not actually deflated about next season, somewhat beyond caring and thinking more for the season after. Limited funds + any points deduction has left me already accepting relegation. I'd much rather us try to put together a squad of players that are younger, to gain a season of top flight experience that'll be ready for a promotion push the season after, to come back on a level playing field and start over. Use next season to right a few financial wrongs. Don't set a record for the biggest defeat, pick up more than 14 points and it's fine. Opportunity to be ruthless. Anyone that wants out, flog. Don't offer Jannik a contract now Enzos gone. The only thing that would be sad that I could potentially see happening now is Vardy walking. I know he plays for lcfc and not Enzo, but lcfc is in a mess. The blokes done more than enough for us, personally I'd step away now, leave on a high and experience something else
  13. Decent move for him if goes ahead. Good luck Wilf
  14. And a Coady masterclass in defence.. I'd imagine Connor fancies his chances of impressing a new manager
  15. I wouldn't mind Rutter from that lot. Seemed to have a good attitude and played well whenever I've seen him. But would be out of our price range anyway. I'd like us to get on the blower to Spurs and see if we can do a deal or a loan on Rodon. Mikey Johnston from Celtic would be good. Archie Gray for me is massively overrated. One more season and he'll be a slightly better version of Luke Thomas, nothing more.
  16. I'd be pretty happy with him. Like you say, worked with a bang average Huddersfield and cashless WBA and done well. We'll be a bang average and cashless Leicester, so hoping he can do both at the same time. Get him on the phone to Celtic and bring Johnston with him too, had a great half a season under him
  17. Looking forward to seeing their fans reaction after throwing away a 2 goal lead at Brentford, for Enzo to say 'I was clear from day one, as soon as there is doubt, I leave.' Got away with it here, but he won't there. As I've previously said, I think he'll get top 4 with them next year, but I personally feel that's where they were getting to anyway. They've picked up form, got a large young squad and plenty of teams around them in transition (liverpool) and/or generally quite poor in depth (United etc). I really think they'd have gotten it without changing managers though, so for me, he needs to win a trophy, probably the conference league, to measure success. Top 3, within 12 points of first would be impressive too taking in to account their recent years. I just hope it don't affect our team too much. I know managers come and go, but this lot generally seemed to buy in to his style and enjoyed playing it.
  18. If it does turn out to be Corberan, I'd hope as soon as that contracts signed he's on the phone to Celtic to coax them in to selling Mikey Johnston to us... was fantastic at the baggies
  19. I hope we recruit by looking at the situation realistically. With having no money and the inevitable points deduction, we're going to drop (sorry to be a pessimist, usually try and be positive), so I'm hoping they look at the long term plan and hopefully with the idea of some consistency. Next season surely has to just be about generating premier league money, but building a squad to bounce straight back up the season after to start a new Premier league campaign on a level playing field. So hopefully, someone more up and coming could be considered, rather than a short term fix for whats likely to be a sh1t show of a season anyway. Personally, I'd rather someone like Rohl over De Zerbi (shown he's capable of a Rodgers impact then gone) or a Moyes whose ready for retirement However, whoever we get I'll support, just hope there's a proper long term plan to whoever we obtain. I do fear though, we'll be in a beggars/choosers situation with our current state of play. Please not a Lamparsd/Gerrard type though
  20. They'll get top 4 next season and he'll be the messiah. Then sack him the following Christmas when they're battling top 6. I think the top 4 would've been achieved with poch or whoever they employed as well, won't have ought to do with Enzo. Spurs need an overhaul, Liverpool will fall off with Klopp going and quite a few stars aging. United are miles off the top, as are Newcastle now. They've had a year at Chelsea of these young players gaining experience, one or two slightly more experience quality signings and I think top four is nailed on, of not already. They ended the season on form. For me, unless he wins a trophy, I don't feel you can measure his achievement next season as they were progressing that way anyway. Wish him well though. Came in to get us promoted and he's done that. I don't think Leicester appeared to have been completely honest with him at the start regarding the financial situation either.. so at least whoever comes in knows they'll be jumping in to the sh1t.
  21. I won't particularly miss Enzo and feel he has nothing to lose going to Chelsea, wish him well but I'm not fussed. My only worry is the players have really bought in to his philosophy and style of play, and have literally trained and played this way daily since he arrived, never using a different style. How long will it take them to adapt to a new style. I'm hoping nothings been agreed with Vesty yet too. Worked well under Enzo, but for anyone else, he'd be a number taken
  22. Joe Rodon would be a decent signing
  23. Collymore vs Sunderland. Absolute screamer
  24. Forest at Home. 93rd minute winner.. move up to minus 7 points 🤣
