Hopefully he's just fooling us all and this isn't the team he puts out in the PL or spurs will rip us a new one. Okoli is league 1 at best, BDR is poor and we all know daka isn't a footballer. Hamza isn't up to this level either. Riccy P has to Start, oddly, so does Jannik from what we have available. I'd rather play without a striker if Dakas our best option
-
Somewhat agree.. definitely with the comparison to Luton.. but I think they have that little extra quality to hold on to leads when winning. Us on the other hand... I don't see the point in docking us points, we're light years off it
-
Ipswich will do well this season. I'd have them down for 10th to 14th, comfortably too
-
I'd imagine we're just there as clickbait or to usher Palace along with signing the deal
-
Players like Zaha it's all about himself and money. If he wants to prove he still has the ability to play in the Premier league and we have the funds to do the deal, get it done
-
I think he'll have a sort of selfish motivation if he comes here. ie to prove he still has 'it' And I would actually take that Zaha to be honest. If he wants to prove he's still a player and backs it up on the pitch.. it'll only benefit the results for whoever he plays for. If we bring in a decent forward and have him mavs and fatawu behind with Vardy there for the 20 to 30min cameos, the attack could be lethal.. which is going to be needed with what looks (to me anyway) a very poor defence. Could be some proper end to end high scoring games inbound.... Season of 0-0s it is
-
What's he got to gain coming here? I don't see Zaha as the type to want to battle back from minus points to survival.. he'll just go where the jobs easier and he gets paid. Genuinely hope we're his only realistic option and he comes here though. Definitely a game changer
-
I just have a feeling he'd go back and they'd be happy enough for him to go back now they've lost Olise
-
I think a player like Zaha could be the difference (if he stays fit) to keeping us up. He'd also hopefully bring out more in the other players. I reckon Fats will eventually be a great PL player.. but Mavs, not so much. But in a 3 behind a striker I think they'd be frightening together
-
99.99% going to end up back at Palace But that 0.01% he comes here, would be amazing. Him Fatawu and Mavididi behind anyone other than Daka would be delightful.
-
He ain't coming here is he. Just tabloid rubbish. He doesn't want to play second fiddle at a team likely to stay in the premiership, he isn't going to come do it for the favourites to go down either is he.
-
Yea I must have missed that too
-
If we opt to play a 3 at the back, I'd like to see Nelson involved and starting. Looks at least on a par with everyone else and will only get better, wouldn't be as keen with 2 at the back (yet) purely down to experience. Depends what Cooper has in mind. If it's two, I'd prefer him to gain his experience elsewhere for a year while we try and keep our place in the league. It may do him better for his confidence keeping plenty of cleansheets in a team that could win a few games for a year, rather than shipping goals for fun and being battered week in week out.

I'd take anything 30m upwards for Hermansen, if we get 40-45m we should snap there hand off for it
-
Ooooooooh Wilfred Ndidi Delighted. I'd imagine there's a release clause, especially if we drop, that allows us to get a little bit back too... good business
-
Hope this is true. He really isn't that good. He'd look world class for 2 games, spend the rest of the season talking about those 2 games and/or being injured. Also shows the club are at least learning a lesson about how many injury days we already have and don't need to add to them

Maybe we'll scripted, but speaks well, seems level headed for an 18 Yr old, just need to somehow give him time to develop whilst we fight for survival. -
Pepe on a 9 year contract
-
Genuinely think they're pushing his top value at half that price. I know how the market works, but 40m on a bang average centre half is an absolute joke.
-
That was what I was going to suggest 😅

He'd be useful as a sh#thouse.. other than that he's massively overrated .. no thanks

Lads careers been ruined due to our mismanagement in order for us to keep the electric meter running. Positives for Kiernan will be a higher salary, potentially pick up a token medal or two, improves his personal portfolio, playing for a big 6 club will probably get him an odd England call up or 2. Negatives, and most likely to happen though, will drop down the pecking order, eventually just being a league cup and fa cup player, and have a more publicised fall from grace. All I can see is another Drinkwater career for him now, and unless we stay up and can loan him back, will become a loaned journeyman, bitting and bobbing. Honestly wish him all the best and I hope I'm wrong, but it just stinks to me. I'm not actually personally bothered as I don't rate him as a premier league player, but he had a chance to prove himself with us, feel like we've fed him to the lions to save ourselves from our own hishappenings. It ain't right. Good luck Kiernan, at the very least, you've escaped the mess of a club we currently are.

He'll come in, get us competing and playing some good football and then be off to Old Trafford when they bin ten haag off in November. On paper looks the best option but I don't think it'll do us any good and we'll be looking again by Xmas. That being said, I'll hope for the best and back him though. If he comes in, stays and keeps us up, hats off to him
-
I think he'll be more like the year before when he was big part of the team that dropped. If we can get 40m I'd sell no issue. We could bring in 2, possibly 3 players from the u23s of man city etc with a higher potential. Kiernans a couple years off 30, we won't get a much better price on him unless he smashes it next year, breaks in to the England fold and we stay up... can't see any of that happening
-
8-10m tops. Decent enough for a dogfight and knows where the goal is. Maybe offer them a 5m bonus for if we stay up
