  1. Tin pot club, looks like a school science block. Some nice comments on Nottinghamshire live about ours, one describes it as like Disney land. Surely we will attract the best local talent? For the size of their club you would think they would already have a category 1 status academy, says a lot really.
  2. Think hes better as an impact sub, can't even last a full game. When I see him as the lone striker I just know the defence is gonna have to be shocking. His only attribute is holding the ball up well, but once he's done that he turns and and tries to take on 2 or 3 players, he's never looking for the pass or where his teammates are, very selfish player. Think the only reason he had a good ratio at man city was because they bought him on for the last 10, the games were already won, and they put it on a plate for him! Oh well at least we managed to secure his image rights!
  3. Stupid team selection, starting with our 2 second choice defensive midfielders, no creativity and a donkey up front! You get what you deserve! No game is an easy game and you should pick the strongest team available. I can understand 1 or 2 but to change half of it, also I think we know by now that never works for us. Obviously glad we didn't lose, but we could of easily done so, wasted opportunity yet again! People talk about us becoming a big club or a top 6 regular, but while this is still in our locker we never will be. It's not like palace played well either, they didn't, they were bloody garbage!!! Same old, created one chance and scored it!
  4. Good point overall, we didn't create enough clear cut chances, and were caught out for the goals. They kept trying that killer through ball, we should have anticipated it better. They created nothing from wide positions, had 0 corners so it says it all. Our garbage home form and their almost record equalling away form I feared the worst, but we battled well, ref was crap so all things considered it's a good point. Could of been worse, thankfully rashford is better at feeding starving kids than scoring goals. If he weren't a manc and hadn't come through their academy he'd be no where near that team, he's distinctly average!
  5. Lovely video and very appropriately worded song choice! The times certainly are a changing! How far we have come, absolutly incredible!
  6. We can and have recovered from losing positions to win. I think the problem is going in at half time in a losing position, we never seem to recover, if we do go 1 down we seem to have to recover within 20 mins or its game over. Never seems to be much of a response to going behind, it's just like they're told don't worry just keep playing the same, the goals will come.
  7. Does anyone else think that the type of performance tonight and has been at home a lot this season is why we haven't drawn any games? When we're beat we're well and easily beaten! There's no battling back for a draw, or unlucky not to draw etc it's just black and white. What did we create tonight, what did their keeper have to do other than a couple of easy takes? What have we done in any of the home games we lost? What did they do, a couple of good chances, scored them both! If my team is going to lose at home, and I do expect that several times in a season, I expect them to lose because the opposition is a different class and if they're not I expect us to go down at home fighting, so then at least we can we gave everything and we were unlucky. Seen none of that so far! Once we have our injured players back and if this sort of performance keeps happening serious questions will be asked! We have done well to cope with injuries, the european games etc but I just expect a hell of a lot more at home, it's not like we've lost at home to liverpool, man city, Chelsea etc. Its west ham, villa, Fulham and Everton. Simply not good enough! Rant over!
  8. Create nothing with plan A, so stick with plan A. We're never gonna be a consistent top 6 team if we keep losing to average teams at home, they hardly have to do anything to win, most are guaranteed to score from a set piece too, just sit on their leads and watch our slow and passive build up play, garbage at home yet again!
  9. LCFC training ground is a bit bland isn't it? Would of thought they'd go with park hill training ground or something. I really hope they aren't selling the naming rights to it down the line! I could live with king power but not pari match or bia Saigon training ground or some rubbish like that.
  10. Incredible! Players could bring their other half or family and stay for a few days before a home game. Really hope they offer tours of this place! It's too impressive to keep us fans away!
  11. Can we employ a set piece coach now? Always look like a rabbit in the headlights defending them and have no clue attacking them....if it beats the first man that is!
  12. Garbage! One of the worst teams in the league and created very little, didn't get going until the last 5 mins, joke! We never seem to have an unlucky loss, we always fully deserve it!!! Lost 3 out of 5 at home, not even played anyone decent!!!
  13. Always thought freemans common would be a perfect location for a McDonald's from a business point of view. It's on the inner ring road, close to the college, close to the industrial estate and close to city and tigers. The thing will be rammed!!!
  14. Looks really impressive, as mentioned, don't think that will add 16k. More like take the whole stand to 16k. Just wish they'd do a bit more to the north and south stands, even if they just made the roof taller to blend it in and make room for an extra tier in those stands in the future. Other than that really good!
  15. If that is the east stand design its incredible! It's not just an expansion, it's a rebuild of the whole stand! Our owners spare no expense don't they. Also the training ground looks better than Liverpool's by a country mile and I'd say even better than st George's park!
  16. I do think out current badge is one of the best. Even more so since the 2009 redesign, adding the white on the fox, making the text smaller etc. I wasn't sure if there might have been a text font change for the badge as the LCFC they are using this season is more of a block font, banners on the stadium have changed to this too, as well as LCFC TV. But training ground badges prove otherwise. Not sure if we should drop the football club bit from the badge at some point? Clubs badges like man u, man city, Newcastle, everton, just looks a bit more simple. Only 4 PL clubs use football club, some others use FC. Ours does work though as the words Leicester city and football club are basically the same size to fit top and bottom. Would love to see all our historical badges on the stadium with the current one, all lit up as big signs on the exterior when its redeveloped, would be a great nod to the past!
  17. Always though he was fantastic alongside Morgan when we won the championship in 2014, didn't quite make the step up in PL, was at fault for a lot of goals that saw us rock bottom. Probably a bit too much of a step up at such a young age, think he'd only had 1 full season as first choice CB. Bringing Huth in in Jan 2015 basically saved us from relegation and what came next. As soon as Huth signed permanently his Leicester career was basically over. Reading his interviews in the past he absolutly loves Leicester and was gutted he had to leave to progress. It's just a shame the club progressed quicker than he could. That was it really, would welcome him back but as it's already been said he would only be 4th choice at best really.
  18. Not a single shot on target against that crap, 69% possession, why do we never mix it up when it's not working? They won every header in both boxes and when they weren't doing that they had 11 men behind the ball, we looked clueless, not physical enough either!
  19. Maybe it's an add on survey to the stadium one, perhaps they are looking to incorporate non binary, gender fluid toilets in the new stand?
  20. Its come along a bit more, some tarmacing has been done, water feature has started being built. A lot more paving needed by the look of it. I suspect it won't be done until the end of october at the earliest, possibly nearer christmas time?
  21. Quite like it, very different, looks stylish. I like an unusual kit. Green and purple again next year!
  22. Yes far too much bronze/gold/brown panelling. I understand it's probably got to be in keeping with the landscape, same reason the indoor pitch has a part grass roof but you'd hardly know what our club colours were from these images. Obviously going for the subtle look. Hopefully the interior will be more blue, looks incredible either way.
  23. Is this around the same time nigel said that some had delusions of grandeur (my favourite saying). It was always a strange signing, Reading were arguably a better side at the time, so the motivation was purely financial, we were splashing the cash at the time, we were a bit like QPR spending stupid money on half decent players. I imagine this period is why we got a FFP fine from the football league after our promotion to the PL.
  24. He's got some balls. Mostly done, buildings are all up, pitches look immaculate. Still looks like a lot of paving and landscaping to do though. Might be in by October.
  25. I really like it, i do think white is the only colour other than blue obviously, that works with our standard badge. White with a blue secondary colour, looks smart and he gold ties in with the king power branding. If this maroon kit is true, I hope it's a monochrome badge as nothing else will work, similar to the pink kit. Also the blue down one side, gold the other reminds me of the stripes in the v neck of the puma 2013/14 home shirt.
