As soon as it deflected of perez and Thomas picked it up I could see the space in front of tielemans, saw the pass coming the look over the shoulder, he knew he has the time and space, I just shouted run into the space, run into the space, hit it!!!!! Then lost my voice shouting like I've never shouted before! Take a bow son, ye don't save those!

What about big Dan Amartey?

It was truly wonderful to see for once how much an FA cup meant to the players and the fans. It really is everything to us. For teams like Chelsea that buy success the FA and league Cup are like getting an extra chocolate bar out of a vending machine when you've only paid for one. I am really thrilled to see the passion that our players had for winning, some were absolutely hysterical. Love how highly they spoke about the achievement for the club and achievement for the owners, no egos at all. I'm so please for firstly our longer serving players, to win a Premier league and an FA cup in your career is a huge a huge achievement, but to do it for a so called smaller club like Leicester is an impossible achievement, especially in the modern era of football where its the same old teams winning everything. This really cements their status as absolute legends of this wonderful club. I'm also pleased for our younger players, such as maddison, ndidi, tielemans, forfana, thomas, Barnes who have also given themselves legendry status, we really do have some incredible young talent that can still improve further. Another historic day for our wonderful club, and I know we keep saying about how far we have come but in 2008 we were relegated to league 1, who would have thought that 13 years later we would have completed the domestic set of trophies? Absolutely incredible, so proud that we have witnessed this in our lifetime. I think its time for some people at our club to become freeman of the city of Leicester! One other thing to mention with all this talk of the big six, we don't need to be there by default we're already there, 4 major honours in the Premier league era puts is 6th on the list!

LCFC vs Chelsea - FA CUP FINAL 14/05/2021 - Match Thread
TWUKO replied to StanSP's topic in Leicester City Forum
When we get the ball we need to move it forward quicker. I think tielemans will be key in creating a chance, vardy looks up for it. Just need to keep our composure at the back. Giving away too many easy free kicks and corners. We can do it though just need to hold our nerve! -
FA Cup Final pre match thread (Chelsea)

Does anyone know which kit we are wearing yet? Originally I saw the fixture was down as Leicester vs Chelsea, now everywhere seems to say Chelsea vs Leicester, so does that mean we are the away team? The BT sport on screen tile thing used maroon, but didn't think we could use maroon as they don't have any King Power sponsored shirts? I assume at some point before the final there must be a coin toss between the 2 clubs, or is it randomly decided? -
Far too passive again, we just look absolutely shot for some reason and the nerves are really starting to sink in. So many basic errors it's worrying!
-
This is just a joke, we're second to everything, look so shakey, too slow again, you'd think we're fighting relagation, absolute garbage, so many errors!

Top back in England for the first time in 12 months!

Was wondering if he would be able to attend the cup final. Was obviously willing to comply with all the restrictions etc. Fair play to him, obviously means a lot. Now let's keep vichai's dream alive and do it for him. Welcome back to the best chairman in the PL. -
Wasted opportunity, put everyone behind the ball and we couldn't break them down, moved the ball too slow. Took us about 30 mins to create a half chance, too passive again, when your against 10 you should just go for it, they just crawled under a rock, weren't interested in leaving their half. We did nothing down the wing, no intricate passing until the latter stages, some poor finishing. Could tell the ref was championship standard, kept giving soft fouls. Just hope they get some rest and then get the job done, at the business end of the season you need to beat this sort of crap, same for Newcastle which I think will be tougher than we think, I am genuinely worried about the last 3, can't see many points coming from them which makes tonight seem like a real waste.

West Ham vs LCFC - Sunday 11th April - Sky Sports

Throwing it away again, if we can't perform in the 6 pointer what's the point, this team has no bottle when it really counts!!! Sick and tired of watching a bloody training ground passing game. So we can pass it around, now do something with it! All they do is pump long balls and run on to it! Absolute joke! -
The league Cup should not be scrapped under any circumstances just in principle. If big clubs moan of a fixture congestion they just forfeit it or put out their u23's! This is why I don't like the champions league and uefa!

My support for England is about 10% of what it is for Leicester. If leicester are on TV I can't leave the room and if we score I punch the air and if we concede a f and blind. With England I can leave the room for 20 minutes, when we score I say we'll done and if we concede I laugh. My issue with England currently is that we are so overrated, some good talent, but could count the number of world class players on one hand. There is still a top 6 biast, sick and tired of average players who are out of form or injured still getting picked, or players who have been out of the squad and play for the top six get back in based on 2 good games before an international break! The situation with maddison has summed it up for me over the last couple of years, plays his socks off, most influential attacking english midfield player at the time the last time he was in the squad and still mount got the start I think after less that 10 PL games, it doesn't make sense I just put it down to the fact he doesn't play for a trendy club! I remember a few weeks back and one TV presenter said to a pundit, Harvey Barnes is having a cracking season, surely he's gotta be in the squad for the euros? The pundit replied yeah well erm we'll definitely need back up players in the squad! That is how our club and our players are seen and it sickens me!!!

Brighton vs LCFC - Match Thread - 06/03/2021 (Sky Sports)

We just look abysmal! Forget the attacking injuries, we are just all over the place, so sloppy. I swear our lads have some bets on for the number of passes completed, that's all we do now, pass back, pass it along the back line to each other. Then wait for their press and look like a rabbit in the headlights! If you can't beat the crap that is Burnley or Brighton away from home, you don't deserve anything. Have a feeling this game could get worse! -
LCFC vs Slavia Prague (2nd Leg) - Match Thread - 25/02/2021
TWUKO replied to StanSP's topic in Leicester City Forum
Absolute garbage, haven't looked interested over the 2 legs, barely created anything over the 2 games. We really do just throw in the towel when it really counts. We haven't given this competition the respect it deserves, not taken it seriously. A game in which we can't really afford to concede, we start fringe players and give academy players their substitute debuts, absolute joke, what's the point in qualifying for this thing if we can't be arsed? -
He's a phenomenal player, constantly getting stuck in, winning balls he has no right to, anticipating passes and intercepting, he's always looking around at where the danger might be. A lot of out quick attacks start with him winning the ball or breaking up the play. He really is our most Important player in my opinion.

Wolves are same as Everton were described, like Burnley but with better players! They are just sitting back, 5 at the back when were in possession, as soon as we go down the wing 3 close down, just hitting us on the counter. We need to be careful, wolves are good going forward when they can be bothered to have possession. We just need more going forward, vardy and under/albrighton on for nacho and perez, although nacho has done well at holding the ball up etc.

I keep saying to myself our top 4 chances are limited because as sublime as we've been in recent weeks, we've still got one of these absolute garbage performances in us! Our home form is very concerning, lost 5 games to pretty much nothing teams, some of which are having good seasons, but even so we should be able to give them a game or at least get a frustrating draw. I don't think Leeds were that good, they had the better chances 1st half but we were much the better side 2nd half. All their goals and chances came from the same type of situation, a ball pumped over the top or out wide for them to latch on to, they had no intricate passing play or anything, in the middle of the park they were either looking for a free kick or giving one away every 5 seconds. Completely stifled us, apart from forfana I thought our defensive display was pretty shocking and our midfield or forward players either couldn't get going properly or had a shocker. Perez may as well have been sent off, and although mendy tried you realise how much our attacks come from wilf winning a ball back when the opposition are on the move and then a quick forward pass or one two from maddison, or tilemans, yesterday's lack of that made them look poor. I switched off post match as soon as souness said for any football fan Leeds are a joy to watch! Leeds are nothing special, they are either hit or miss, they do what they do well, but half the time it don't work, I fully expect them to suffer a 2nd season syndrome!
-
Should play him as a defensive midfielder, he's great at breaking up attacks....our attacks!
-
Glad we managed to get a point, we were the better team, early in the season or last season we'd of lost that for sure. Hopefully we're becoming hard to beat now and even if a team doesn't want to play football they're not walking away with all 3 points. Another good step forward hopefully.
-
Now many times this season have we turned a losing position at half time into a winning one at full time? It's all about the first goal with us!
-
We know what'll happen second half, 11 men behind the ball, wait for us to make another mistake, 2-0, 3 points without playing any decent football!
-
I think in the next few weeks if he does get the nod and doesn't perform, he's finished here. How log does he have left on his contract anyway? I think he's not a bad player and yes the stats are misleading, he rarely starts league games, gets subbed off if he does and only comes off the bench for about 20 mins, it's hard to perform consistently when this is the game time you get. He can finish, holds the ball up well etc. My concern is similar to Perez, he doesn't quite fit the Leicester city mould. The thing I hate the most is the greedyness, can't stand that of any player, when you think of vardy, barnes, albrighton, maddison you know that if there is a pass on or even retaining possession they will do it, nacho seems to think he can dribble past 3 players and bury it when vardy is unmarked. I do think he's the sort of player that needs it on a plate, I remember sometimes when he scored for man city, their more skillful players would do all the hard work and he would just finish. Maybe we need to play more like that because theres no point trying to play a through ball hoping he beats the offside trap or a ball over the top, he ain't got the pace or agility for that. I think its playing ball to feet letting him hold it up and try to shake the defender. Now slimani is off the wage bill I think the club need to invest in a young up and coming striker that can play a similar role to vardy.

When I was looking at a house extension a few years ago, the architect wasn't sure if I would get the planning permission from Leicester City council, and recommend submitting a pre-planning application to the council, which was a nominal fee but took a lot longer to come back. So I'm sure this sort of thing would happen for commercial developments too. When you see these developments in the news they are usually about to be put in for application, but everything has already been agreed with planners based on what they have advised they can or can't do, and designs will be amended accordingly. They only go into the public domain for public consultation and for any objections etc. The fact they have spent 2 or 3 million already makes me think they're probably nearly there. With the amounts being borrowed I just hope it's not just 1 stand and surround area with hotel and arena. Would like to see most of the stadium developed and capacity up to 50k, would be a real statement and future proofing.

Would love to win a trophy and now more than ever we have the team to do it. The FA cup has been our holy grail for over 50 years now, since our last final appearance. We have that unwanted record of 4 final losses. I gets on my nerves that clubs like Wigan and Portsmouth in recent years and even forest, derby and cov all have FA cups to their names and we don't! Really want us to take this seriously, there is a real chance of progression. Same with Europa, we're never gonna win a champions league, but the europa is a real possibility, we just need to take them seriously and play our strongest team available. For the stature of the club now we need to start making regular semi final and final appearances to be considered a big club. Unfortunately we have bottled it in later stages in recent years. The domestic cups in particular are there for the taking for clubs like Leicester. We've already won more than most teams ever will, so let's keep adding to it.

Kasper is a great servant to the club. He has got better as the club has got better, and leads by example. A great captain and as we have heard in recent months, he's very vocal on the pitch. He comes across as a very intelligent guy and from what we hear he is highly professional.
