We have seen him go on the outside plenty, particularly 23/24 and in glimpses before he was injured in 24/25. Wingers are inconsistent, Mahrez was inconsistent for us. Again in 23/24 he was great at tracking back and worked really hard for the team - he got something like 15 assists off the top of my head All depends on what teams are willing to pay and if there are multiple teams in for him, We've seen him be one of our best players in our worst ever team so our view is tainted, he was disappointing at the back end of the season definitely but we've seen FAR more good than bad from him. If Leicester City (Under KP) operated as they do in any other, more normal industry we would have gone into liquidation long ago. The shoddy business practises are only sustained by a hyper loyal fanbase and the occasional ability to sell high value players to sustain the losses. Hospitality is crap, the ticketing is crap, the merch is crap, the catering is crap, the media output is crap. It could all be forgiven if we operated with skeleton crews but we have a media department 3x the Championship average, we pay for the most expensive hotels and team coaches and so on. Neither of the two mechanisms that keep us out the shit will last for ever.

We have our worst ever season, we actually increase the amount of STs sold with 6k new takers. There is still a lot of untapped potential. The low matchday attendances are because of stupid membership policies, the general sale aversion, lack of marketing and of course being shit for 3/4 season. Theres is nothing wrong with the club apart from the ownership.

We had no defensive midfielders last season and lots of more experienced defenders we paid serious money for have been worse for us over the past few years. He has all the raw ingredients, it's just we've had a succession of poor teams and managers out there. I'm pretty sure he'll have a great top flight career.

If we were a L1 regular with a side that won the League 10 years ago, the FA cup 5 years ago, a PL side 2 seasons ago and will be spending at least 5x the usual upper quartile of wages - I’d expect their fans would be saying promotion was the bare minimum.

We've been doing it for years, I liked Castagne more than most but circa £15m for a fullback with a year left was a big overpay. The more supine posters on here said we had no choice when fleeced on deals when our players had < 1year left but it didn't work when the shoe was on the other foot. I'd guess we've overpaid by 20% and undersold by the same. Fatawu was a rare good signing but £17m on a completely untried 19 year old was mental, imagine if we'd gone up and he was shit?

2 year deal and whatever we paid, something like 5m, maybe 7m? was ridiculous because he was just never worth let' say £3m in fees + £2m in wages per season. On a two year deal he'd naturally leave on a free so it's another total cost of about £10m for 80 appearances. Reid will probably still be here next season, so the two of them will cost about £15m, Reid will leave on a free or nominal fee. Cooper managed us for about 10 games and is partly responsible for about £70m in losses with his pushing for Skipp, Reid and Ayew. Agree on Zaha, he's never been that productive.

We can't bank on these idiots being able to forecast anything. They're not gamblers in that they formulate a plan and take a risk, what they do instead is the bare minimum and hope it works out - because they've been lucky that approach has worked about 20% of the time for them when it should work out less than 5% of the time.
