Leuven have paid that sort of money for all sorts of dross - did well there before his injury -
If we could have retained any player from last season I think Ndidi would have made the most difference

I think he looks like he has more upside than Opoku but we just have to stop losing players for nothing -

It's a bit like how people poach Brentford's managers and they all tend to fare poorly - they lost Frank and they're better with an inexperienced set piece coach -
He’d have very few goals because we’ve created very few chances.

The wages haven’t helped at all but we have still consistently got less than we ought to for players. Look at Hermansen’s fee vs Trafford’s or Petrovic’s you can caveat it whichever way you like but there’s a consistent pattern. -

The buying parties were Tottenham and Newcastle, they could pay the wages AND bigger fees. In the same window Newcastle spent about as much on Barnes as they did Livramento - to be second choice RB! We've consistently sold player last 10-20% below their market value, it's quite apparent. -

No idea, getting even £250k for him is better than leaving on a free. We have to start sweating our assets and I have some faith McCarron will be better at selling than Rudkin will be. Even £500k from Leuven where he previously did well helps us out massively. He's started 26 games in his career, 10 goals, 4 assists, there is something there. -

10 goals and 4 assists in 26 career league nineties. Something to work with for a club abroad I think - could definitely shift him for a fee. Given his brief but successful spells in Belgium, you’d hope McCarron might find a home -

Better to do that and flog him for £700k than let him walk on a free. -

The Ranieri one (now gone) was terrible too

How much evidence of incompetence do some need before they stop siding or giving the club the benefit of the doubt? I flat out refuse to believe that Stuttgart would only have stretched to £20m or whatever, they'd just sold Woltemade for big money. It's like Rudkin doesn't actually know you can negotiate. Look at the money they got for Bednarek, "Amo-Ameyaw", Onauchu, Edwards and ABK, never mind the top two who'd done nothing to justify those fees. If we had Southampton's players we'd have gotten closer to half of those fees. We sold Barnes and maddison for about £75m and they're England internationals with 59 and 75 PL goals contributions between them. Dibling and Fernandes had 2 & 6 respectively! -

Brentford are institutionally smart, it’s their systems and processes rather than their scouts and analysts. They have a smart owner who made his fortune using football data to beat the gambling markets. Top & Rudkin couldn’t find an edge at Leicester market. -
Are we still taking away stewards too? My biggest gripe with Davies promotion to CEO is we’ve not cut any of this unnecessary crap when he could have stopped it as FD. Why are we still operating two training grounds!?
-
I think sides will cotton onto targeting our RHS if we persist with Okoli and Choudhury - very little ability to progress the ball there
-
And look completely at home for a European side
-
Kristiansen will want to leave, I’d imagine he’ll have takers in Serie A and the Bundesliga- his PSR break even is probably about £6m off the top of my head.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!

2 or 3. Absolutely should at Wednesday, meaning 1 or 2 from the other 8 which seems pessimistic but we know this team is full of lapses and rickets.

God we deserve everything we get if we're hoodwinked by a handful of steady games and don't upgrade on arguably the biggest problem position in the squad. He has been much better recently but we've seen enough to know that he'll have a purple patch (i.e three 7/10 games) and revert to type.

It's not just about Daka's individual actions but how he occupies the oppostion in a way Ayew just doesn't. If Daka was in that situation above situation it's plausibly 4 v 3 instead of 3 v 3 and a greater chance of a tap in (something we've barely done all season). Ayew will superficially look better at holding the ball up in that there won;t be the obvious loose touches like you'll get with Daka but the net result is the same or worse. Ayew's hold up play doesn't benefit the team, when you think of Iheanacho's hold up it added fluency to our attacks whereas usually Ayew ends up running towards his own goal and plays a backwards/square ball, he does everything glacially which negates dropping deep in the first place. Not to mention that we can press coherently with Daka rather than watch Ayew half-heartedly press.
